Asks if you want an interest rate on your credit card at 6.9%, if you say yes. they hang up on you

I just tried calling the number back and it has been disconnected.

Didn't answer the call but when tried calling back it says the # has been disconnected. Funny thing is that you can hear a male voice in the background before the recording starts, can't tell what is being said though.

A recorded message from "Heather" concerning my credit card account. She claimed this was my last chance to lower my interest rate. There was no indication of what credit card it was referring to. There were two options at the end of the recording: Push 1 to take advantage of the offer; push 2 to end the call and be taken off the list. I pressed 2 and was told my number was off the list. Very likely a scam.

Recorded voice asked if I was interested renewing my car warranty.I waited to hear the options at the end and was connected to a real person. When I said I wanted to be taken off this list, they hung up. The suspicious thing about it is my roommate got the same call about an hour later from same number.

Just wondering if you have ever gotten resolution for this?  My parents were scammed too.

I got ripped for $600 and its been a year since I've been trying to get my money back.  Here's a few names I've come in contact with: Jerry Lamorine, Kathleen, and Alexi.  I've tried these numbers 1-866-713-1203 and 1-305-944-1152 and now these numbers don't work or either they have my name and number in the system so it would reject when I called.

I wish there were something we could do to get our money back and stop these stupit A's dummies whose calling around ripping sweet people off that are believing they are getting a good deal.

I got a call for an extended warranty on my truck on 2/19/08. Iput down a $300 deposit. After getting the contract, there were many ways for them to get out of paying for repairs. I cacelled my contract annd have been fighting them for a year. They will not answer phone calls or letters from attorneys or the Washington state attoney general. Please be warned these people are a rip-off. Don't do business with them!!! Please tell others about them and forward message to others so they are not ripped-off   Thank you

They told me my warranty on my car was about to expire and to press 1 and taok to an agent about it.
when I pressed 1 I got a "Please call during buissnes hours."

This call came to me at 8:10 PM moutian standard time.

I am also pon the Us and Colorado no call list.

Last offer of updating warantee on my vehicle.  Press one to talk to a representative (I've done that and they're always closed) or press two to have your name permanently removed from our list (I've done that and my name is obviously NEVER removed because I receive at least two or three of these calls per week and have been getting them for months now.)

These f****ps keep calling me. I want them to die. I am on the Do Not Call List. I hope they choke on their own vomit and get raped. I PRESSED TWO TO GET YOU TO STOP CALLING ME YOUR F****NG PIECES OF S***!!!!!!

The only problem with that is most systems only allow you to add 16 phone numbers to the list, and the editing options are type in the entire number you want to remove, or blow away the whole list.

So, speaking as a person who has had their phone for 6 years, I can say "Yes that works", but I have to add "for a while".

Pre-recorded call inferring that the warranty on my car is set to expire. (not true).

I contacted the www.ftc.gov page.  They collect these reports and use them when the State AGs start going after these b*****ds.

People getting these calls who want to help put a stop to them should go to the web site www.heatherwitaccountservices.com to get the info on the real identities of the criminals behind this scam and the agencies to report them to using this info.  Reporting them using the fake names they give out (Card Services, Financial Services, etc.) or the fake phone numbers that they illegally cause to show up on your Caller ID does little good.

Call from 954-535-9912 informing me that my auto-warranty was about to expire.

Please be kind to these scammers as they seem to be sensitive and (maybe) were once loved by their mothers.

I have about 2-3 years left on my auto warranty so, when I was advised that my auto-warranty was about to expire, I accused them of breach of contract and called them "flakey thieves".  Apparently this offended my caller's sensitivities; he hung up on me.

Got a call from this number on the same day (Mar 6) as the folks above.  It was a recording about lowering my interest rates.  I hung up before it finished.  A day later I found out I had checks stolen and they were passed at WalMarts in Viera and Coral (something) Florida on March 6.  Close to Ft. Lauderdale!  They say there are no coincedences.  Scammers! All of'em!

They call all the time, even Sunday mornings!

These CRIMINALS called and left no message. I have reported the number to HTTP://WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV and as a PHISHING SITE through Windows Vista. They should thank their lucky stars I didn't answer the call.

Called 3/6 didnt answer and didnt leave a message, I know they have called mroe than this time, i never answer the calls, but plan on next time to give the some h*lL

Anytime I see unfamiliar numbers, such as 954-535-9912, I let it go to voice mail to see who has called. They usually don't leave any messages on the answering machine, but sometimes I wish they would. I would love to talk to them. There are a lot of fraud scams going on out there and too many innocent and unsuspecting people get taken advantage of when they unwittingly give them the keys to their bank accounts, social security numbers, etc. There are also phone scams that place you on hold and you almost have a heart attack when you see the next month's phone bill -- you are charged over $5.00 for each minute they put you on hold. You want to know what I do for a living?  I'm a Fraud Investigator at bank. Please be careful out there.

Tried to block number with Quest *60 and the number was not able to be blocked will Quest on monday. no message left just calls 4 times since the 6th
