Called Sunday on business phone after 8:30 pm.  Returned call Monday AM - No answer and message seriously "garbled"
Our thoughts ?  Scam.

I received a call last night around 9:30 pm from this number and the guy (james davenport) left a message. Same number as stated above and it sounds to me like a scam!!!!

Illegal robocall from John wanting to get my business listed on Google, yahoo, yadda yadda yadda.  Caller ID came up Florida Call.  Different number, same scam.  Recording said to press 1 to speak to a rep or press 2 to be removed from their calling list.  Neither option works as the call disconnects before you can push either number.

Same as above, hung up.

Just got a call to my CELL PHONE from these a**les.  When I pressed 1 to be connected I got the full voice mail message.

Getting a call from this nmbr but no one says anything. It's getting a bit old now.

Call to a "Do not call" number

this number has called several times before it is always some kind of IVR generated call pitching a revision of our google profile... I never listen much longer because it is just a computer.

I also received a call at 11:19 pm.  Pretty sure calls after 8:00pm are illegal.
The call claims they have openings "for your industry" to be place at the top of a google search.

This is what I found on the internet about such claims

   Google will often give a new advertiser a boost while they determine the quality score of the ads. Until the Adwords mechanism for calculating quality score kicks in (after it gets enough information to work) this can happen.

The lesson is that you can never guarantee top placement anywhere. AdWordsPro says:

   Here's a rule that you can count on: any person or company that promises you any particular position, whether in the unpaid search results or within AdWords ad, is misleading you.

Same deal here after 10 pm wow really!!!!

Late phone call, and then says nothing....what's up with that.

I received a call that came in at 11:18 pm MT. I thought it was very strange receiving a call in Wyoming from a Ft Lauderdale phone number which I believe the time would have been 1:18am ET. I answered, but did not have a response, then the phone went dead.

Seriously, called my office after 10 PM!!!

Did Not answer this call that came in after 9:20 PM Eastern. A returned call indicated it is "Yahoo-Google-Bing placement center. YEA RIGHT!

I think it's my coworkers ex girlfriend, he recently changed his phone number and she is running out of ways to annoy him and his new fiancee.. who just so happens to be my best friend.
