Who is this from?

I received a call from Andreas Miller asking to set up time for an interview on an up and coming series "effective technologies for improving productivity and profitability".  I returned the call before I read the posts on this website.  Same deal.  Mr. Allen the associate producer, wants to discuss our view and our company for this up and coming series.  The number she called from is 954 671 1097.  Not going to waste my time.  I reviewed IBR site and they actually have an up and coming series.  So after reviewing all the posting, I called back and asked Andrea if there is a fee involved.  She said yes.  I told her I was not interested.  She just hung up.  This saved my an hour...

Got call from Andrea Miller saying that Wade a TV producer wanted to interview us for a TV show, Inside Buisniness Review, hosted by Fred Thompson.  They were going to do a piece on "Secure Solutions for an Insecure World."  They said they found us on the web, our JTrek.com product is a personal security application for cellular smartphones and their segment seemed pretty relavent.  They scheduled a call from Wade for the next day, Dec 20, 2010.  He started saying he was excitted about how close a match we were for what they needed.  We had found these and other numbers that were being used for this operation on this website, thanks.  So, we knew the game, we asked if this was a real show or just a pay to Play, he said it was $19,700.  He started asking questions about how we get customers, we said we weren't interested in paying to be on the show, he said, "OK, we will go a different direction" and hung up.

Wanted to interview me for some sort news feature for their web site with a possible TV tie in.  A fast google doesn't show very much on these guys.  Their web site (GoInsideBusiness.com) claims some sort of a tie to Fred Thomson, the former US Senator and Presidential Candidate, but a quick basic search using tools like whois on the domain name and the pointed to ip number doesn't show an obvious connection between the web site and either the people who called me or Fred Thomson.  Of course, a basic search like this often proves nothing for very legitimate companies so this doesn't prove anything.   Wonder if this is one of those unannounced "pay to play" schemes.
