Just got a call from a man at this number.  He said the same things as others said.  He said he was Dan Blocker from Blocker Industries.  He wanted the name of the plant manager and refused to say what he needed, other than he said he wanted us to do a job for him.  He kept saying the secretary had terrible handwriting so he couldn't read the name of the plant manager that she'd written.  He mentioned one name and we don't have anyone here by that name and he kept grumbling about the secretary's handwriting.  Very rude and abrupt.  I put him on hold so I could try to get more information and he hung up.

This man just called me and said he is "coming here to find out if no one is in this office".  He calls and asks for a name of one of our employees everyday!  Now that I have found this information, I can't wait for the next call!!!!

Calls our company daily! VERY RUDE MAN!! finally let him speak to one of the guys in the office just to see what this guy was so desperate to talk about.... HE IS A SALESMAN! He sales some kind of hand wash! ( He needs to use that hand wash to wash out his filthy mouth!! ) Best way to get to him, simply put him on hold and forget you did.... ;)

called, asked for the operations manager. i told him we don't have one, so then he asked for the plant manager. i said, we have more than one. he said, ok then and pressed a button which made a feedback sound and then transferred me to a perpetually ringing extension. lame! at least have a name when you are calling!

They call daily asking for our plant manager, or for some slaughtered version of his name.  Extremely rude...and I am rude back now.  Caller ID says MB Industries, but not finding anything that makes sense with that name.  It's the same man everytime, and he has used multiple different names for himself and the company he is with.  Ridiculous.

I answered and the caller disconnected.

got a call from a guy claiming to be named bill jenson working for a company named sun energy - tried to sell me some chemicals for factory floor cleaning. Really oily type. TOld me all about his heat attack a few weeks ago to get me feeling sympathetic... I found another source that led me to believe it was a recruiter

Called twice claiming to be Jim Allen from Sun Energy and that I'm supposed to know him...very obnoxious...ended the call quickly.

Male called and asked for production manager. After telling him there is no production mgr but that I could try to help him or take a msg, he said some rude and disgusting things.  Assumed it was just a prank call but sounds like he's getting paid to be a nasty pig.

We got a call from this number today. The guy was very rude and kept insisting I either transfer him to our Operations Manager's cell phone or give him the number.  When I told him he would have to tell me what it was regarding first, he hung up.  Glad I Googled the number. He made it sound like he was a customer.

Shelly Thopson who said she was from SAP and wanted a cell phone # for my Production manager. She said he was expecting her call. I asked what in regards to she said in a job for us. I called my manager and he didn't even know who she was adn he was not in terested in SAP. So I got back on the pohone and told he didn't even know who she was and was NOT expecting her call. So she hung up on me.

Call s in wnating to talk to "plant mgr". Doesn't specify why he is calling or who he needs to talk. He is very rude and is unprofessional... Don't fall for his tricks.

Male caller asking for our plant manager, I also asked what was he looking for so I can direct him to the right person. He would not give me any information so I said I'm the plant manager. He hung up. Had to be a head hunter.

Me again.  I was right!  I Googled Apex recruiting firm and bingo there they are.  Recruiting for the Manufacturing Industry.

Sounds suspicious.  Guy calls, doesn't identify himself asks for our "field operations manager" I told him we didn't have one, he said yes you do your "operations manager" and so I asked him who he was, sorry, didn't write his name down and that he was with Apex Industries.  I said are you with a headhunter firm? He said No.  I said what do you need, he said I need you guys to make something for me.  I told him we make a certain number of products and he said I know I want you to make something for me.  It didn't sound right so I put him on hold to buy some time. I Googled his number but found nothing.  I had five more calls come in and he hung up. I trust my first hunch, I bet he was a head hunter.
