Called and let phone ring when answer machine comes on they just hang up.

It's from the Fire Fighters Association or something like that...asking for money...

This call is Broward County Fire Fighters.  Donations are not tax-deductible, but the do not tell you that.  Caller ID used to say BCPFF, now says Unknown Name.  Call constantly.

just the usual scamsters begging for money on behalf of firefighters, state troopers, paramedics etc. Don't be polite to these jerks. Just hang up. Because that's what they do to you if you politely tell them you can't help

I've researched this number.  It is union workers asking for donations.  They are relentless.

Called with no ID listed, only number. Call from Broward County Police, etc.  Hiding ID so people answer phone.

called house number & asked for my husband by his first name.  When I asked to take a message they hung up.  Caller ID showed 954-797-9670 but no name.  When I called that number back a recorded message said it was disconnected.

This call is from the Broward County Police and Firefighters.  They are soliciting donations.  The donations are not tax deductible, but they do not tell you that.  That usually means they are for-profit somehow.

These calls usually start in the early part of the calendar year and go on for a couple of months.  They caller ID used to say BCPFF, but now it says Unknown Number.

Just received call from this number, came on my ringmaster number & left no message.

According to a Google search the 954-797-9670 belongs to:  Fire Protection Equipment Systems & Services, Fire Departments. 2650 West State Road 84, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. (954) 797-9670. After two rings they hung up...caller ID indicated name as "Unavailable" which is common for fire and police solicitors. Suspect this number may be solicitation calls for donations, etc.
