I keep getting calls from Coral Springs Resolution saying if I don't pay by a certain time I will get a summons to court. They called me from a South Carolina number and then connected me with New York. Is this a hoax? I think so! HELP!

You are obviously delusional- I don't have any debt with these people, neither do many of these people, this is the new scam. These companies buy records from Check cashing places and then they call and fish for people that will pay out of fear- there is NO Legitimate debt- these are scam artists. And if they Are a Collection Agency then they WILL have their business license revoked because there is a law called the Fair Debt Collection Act- it clearly states the rules collection agencies must abide by- if they break ANY of the rules- call more than once a day, call after 8pm (your timezone not theirs), or make threats that aren't true- they are subject to a $1000 fine for each infraction, but if they lie about being law enforcement or being able to jail you- then they are impersonating and that is a felony.  These 'DUMB' women at this place should pack up now before the aw gets to their office- because I have them recorded on my voicemail- hahahahahahahahaha-

Hey All-

Somehow this phone number called me but when my voicemail picked up they didn't realize they were being recorded. There was a woman threatening someone on the phone that if they didn't make a payment she was going to 'personally' drop off at the  process server and then she kept saying, "ok I'll see you in court, see you in court." Then I heard a different woman's voice say to her, "Girl you aint gonna see her in court", then she laughed and the other woman said, "I know" and laughed.  This is definitely someone who is committing fraud and should be busted!

What is really funny is how often minimum wage minions for fraudulent collection outfits come on here and try to imply that anybody that posts here must have delinquent debt. I don't owe you a dime. The only debt I maintain is for tax & credit purposes. I'm here, with many others, to educate people as to their rights as a consumer under the FDCPA. To teach them how to spot a fraudulent and/or bogus debt collector. We talk to our fellow human beings about things like the Statutes of Limitations regarding debt, fraudulent & unethical collection practices, the kinds of people who have lowered themselves to the point they're engaged in fraudulent debt collection activities, how to retain a consumer attorney who will work on a contingency basis and many more topics that will ensure that a person won't be taken by a scammer in a cheap chair wearing a headset.
Legitimate, ethical, law abiding collection personnel never object to this site. Only the ones engaged in unlawful activity seem to have problem with us. I guess we don't have to wonder what side of that equation you're sitting on!

I received a call from a Ms. Robin Williams from 954-883-9737 regarding a loan from Check n go.  I have already paid Check n go off which was about 6yrs ago and recieved a letter.  Ms. Williams calls me at work today to tell me that they have a criminal case against me and that they are going to file an Arbitration against me.  WTF is Arbitration!!!!  I said to her to send me a letter on their letterhead stating the amount that I owe.....and before I can continue she tells me that they are at my home trying to serve me papers.  Can you believe these nuts!!!  I told her to tell them to come to my job right now.  She asked me what is that address. I told her if you have my home address then you should have my work address.  I told her that she needs to stop lying and stop making threats.  I told her that I have someone at my house and no one called to say that I'm being served.  She then proceeded to call me a Dummy not once but multiple times.  I told her that this dummy will not give you any information or money and to stop calling me.  After hanging up, this hefa called me 5times in a row.  When I go to answer the phone, she's insist on calling me a dummy.  The next thing I know she (Ms. Robin Williams) sends me a fax......I think she thought it was Human Resources at my job (she thought she was being smart.....dummy), where my HR is supposed to fill out the form and then have me sign it so that CSR (Coral Springs Resolutions) can will know how much I make and how much I get paid an hour.  They want my job to confirm where I work.  I returned the fax with FRAUD/GET A LIFE!!!!.  I also wrote on that Fax transmittal sheet that I have reported them to the FBI, the police department, and the FTC.  I'm not playin with them.  Anytime you make threats to me on my job or at my home, I take that very serious.....IT JUST GOT REAL/PERSONAL.

Received numerous calls from company finally got someone there to give me their address. Coral Springs Resolutions, 1867 Banks Road, Margate, FL 33063. Delusional rep said they have a case against me and they have traced my assets and are ready to garnish them. BS! When I requested the case number I quickly informed her unless a case has been filed in my State, there is no case; and, no Arbitration. Total scaam. This company has never sent me any correspondence and now that I have address I will report them to the Florida Attorney General and the Attorney General in my State. DO NOT PAY THESE SCUMBAGS!

Another PAYDAY loan scam!!!  They are calling themselves Coral Springs Resolution.  The woman I spoke to actually got mad when I started asking questions to see if they were a legitimate company.  She refuses to give me any kind of legitimate paper work. She was suppose to be sending me documentation by email, but when I told her not to send it from a gmail or yahoo account she got mad and hung up and of course no email.  I've researched the company and it doesn't exist.  These people are just trying to get some extra holiday money.

I GET MESSAGE FROM THIS PLACE ALL THE TIME THREATENING ME THAT I NEED TO PAY A PAST DUE PAYDAY LOAN.  IF THE WOULD DO THEIR HOMEWORK, THEY WOULD SEE THAT THIS "LOAN" WAS PART OF A IDENTITY THEFT AND THE CRIMINAL WAS PROSECUTED!!!!  WHY WOULD I PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE STEALING MY IDENTITY.  PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE AND LET ME GET OVER THE FACT THAT I WAS VICTIMIZED NOT ONLY FROM THE PERSON WHO STOLE MY CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER, CC NUMBERS AND SOC NUMBER, I AM  NOW A VICTIM OF THIS "DEBT COLLECTOR"!
