got a call from this number, left no message which is fine, as I don't answer the call if I don't recognize the number.  Less airtime usage that way.

I too received a call on my cell phone. My cell number is listed with the DO NOT CALL program.  I tried calling the number from my business phone only to get a busy signal.
The name of the company should always be displayed when calling either a land line or cell no matter what. Maybe this should be taken up by the FCC.

I had signed up for something online about winning a free vacation.  They called, and I won!  18 days of vacations all over the joint, free admissions, free this, free that, coupon books, cruises, hotel and shuttle services, and much more, and all i had to do was give them my credit card information over the phone.  They were unable to simply mail me the information so i could see it on paper.  They had to get me to agree over the phone, right now, before the last one is gone.  I declined.

this number may be for a legitimate business but, the manner in which they get there information is through a PHISHING EMAIL SCAM. The employee I spoke to was very polite and matained her composure even when I began to confront her about how their company obtained my phone number and information. I did ask her to put me on a do not call list and a do not email list, she claims she did so but we shall see. The business was some sort of travel agancy the one website I was able to get to that she sent me to was AOKtravel.com I tried to get her to repeat the other she gave me to look at but she would not.
