I am on both the totally worthless national and Florida DNC lists.  I bought a $60 Panasonic KX-TG6841B Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System with Handset from Adorama, which has blocking capacity of 250 numbers.  I do not answer my phone unless I recognize the number or they leave a recognizable message and blocked over 100 numbers in just a few months - that's an average of two numbers every three days - and it is not even the political season yet.  The system also blocks calls from phone number "1" which cannot be recorded on this site and has so far called me 6 times.

I have no horse in the race of trying to sell call blocking devices - other than to put these telemarketing a-holes out of business.

Received call from 956 233 8258. CallerID shows "Unknown" so didn't answer. When voice mail picked up, was dead call. Mobile number locator website reports this is a GSM mobile number assigned to Idea Cellular Ltd, Kerala, India. As matter of fact, this website lists all numbers 9562338000 to 9562338999 with Idea Cellular, Ltd.
Yes, had to look at map to see this is southern India, not south Texas.
