My answering machine reported a call from this number, on Nov 11, 2010.
Only a short silence was left as a message.

Got a call from that number as well about a week ago. American number, sure scam, but wondering what's in there for the owner of that number: they carry the connection cost and the cost of the conversation itself, no? What happens if you press "9" to acknowledge that you're interested?

Sure sounds like a scam to me - hung up on mail request, steep unbelievable discounts, etc. If it's too good to be true ...

Then you should treat the caller as hostile. What legit company would hide their phone number?

Number does not exist (no call-back possible)

Indeed, got also a call from this number offering a 12 days holiday in Florida, valid for a year, car rental included with a discount of 85%. Shee did not want to give the flights, because we also live in Belgium!
When I asked to send the details by mail, she suddenly hung up! Seems like a scam, but what kind, I'm curious.

My 4-year old picked up the phone and had someone talking in English to her. As my daughter doesn't speak English, the caller hung up. Apparently this number doesn't exist ...
