I got a call from this number on my cell phone yesterday evening. As reported by others, it was an automated call supposedly from Wells Fargo, stating that my account had been closed and that I needed to enter my debit card number to reactivate it. OBVIOUS SCAM! I called both Wells Fargo and my cell phone carrier. Wells Fargo said that they had received numerous customer reports of this scam, some form people who don't have accounts with them, and that unfortunately some people had fallen for the trick and had their bank accounts emptied. My cell carrier appreciated the report and said they would block the number from my phone and would look at what they might be able to do system-wide. Of course, the scammers will simply come up with another number.

I got a call, scammer saying that my wells fargo credit card is blocked, press 1 to unlock. I don't have any such credit card. Don't answer calls from this number, and don't give your information, block the caller and report it.

Just got a call from this number. I don't even have a Wells Fargo card. Hung up on the automated call.  So annoying.

This number called me around midnight and woke me up. I didn't answer it. My voicemail kicked in, and left a message asking me to press 1 'for security reasons'.

I work for Colorado CustomWare, Inc.  Our phone # has been hijacked by overseas spammers.  Our IT Department has been working on this but apparently there isn't much we can do other than let it run the natural course until they hijack a different phone #.  This has actually been in the newspaper in many states... http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705389022/ ... -customers.html

Its all over the news its an identity theft scam

Got the call 10-4-11 at 6:00.  Didn't recognize the number so I was going to let it go to v-mail.  They hung up after three rings.  I think they know the voice mail will pick up on the fourth and don't want the automated message to be recorded.

Called my work cell phone and said same thing about my WF credit card being locked.  Like many previous post ... I don't have a WF credit card.

The number was tracked back to COLORADO CUSTOMWARE INC. It is a Computer software development, Custom computer programming services company located in Fort Collins, CO.

Same message and I have never had an account with WF

Your Wells Fargo Card has been locked.  I don't have their card.

Called my wife twice stating that her Wells Fargo credit card had been locked.  We don't even have an account with this bank.  Wish I can sue them for bugging us late at night.

I received a call saying that my Wells Fargo card was locked and to call this number to get it unlocked. I don't have a card with them.

I also got an automated call. saying that my Wells Fargo Credit Card had been put on hold.  We don't have a Wells Fargo Credit Card.  What's this about?

It was an automated recording at 2:41 a.m. saying that my Wells Fargo Credit Card had been cancelled due to fraud.  We don't have a Wells Fargo Credit Card.  My husband got the same message from a different telephone number as a text.  Both on our mobile phones.

2:30 in  the morning?  come on..
