Some guy wanted to buy my house?

We got exactly the same letter in the mail. It is strange that a legitimate executive firm would not use letterhead or identify the firm's name. The return address in the envelope is 8075 W 95th St #257 Hickory Hills, IL 60457. However, the phone number is an AZ number. Very fishy!

We received this message today too. The message reads" We are a firm that relocates transferred executives from around the country and are looking to quickly purchase a luxury home in your area. We noticed your home and would like to know if you are interested in selling. Please contact my assistant Pat at (970) 300-4855...." We are located in suburban chicago. What do you think this is all about?

Received same letter as Annette in 8/3/08 post. Tossing. I am located in Northern Suburb of Chicago. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is - in the trash.

I also got a letter saying they had an executive who is being relocated from around the country who is looking to quickly puchase a luxary home in my area. Says "we noticed your home and need to know if I am intersted in selling". The envelope is handwritten with a return address of 6348 N. Milwaukee #307, Chgo. IL 60646. Bryan Anderson has signed the letter with phone number 970-300-4855. He says to contact his assisant Pat so they can make an offer on my property. Yes sounded fishy to me also! Funny thing is, I was thinking of selling my house and was nearly ready to call Bryan Anderson until read Joe's message!
