These people have been calling our house 2-4 times a day for the last 3 weeks.  At first I ignored them, that's what caller id is for after all, then I finally decided to answer. A man asked if I was interested in a credit card, I told him no and he hung up. My wife has answered several times since then and they ask for me by name but refuse to leave a message when asked. They finally called again today while I was home and it sounded like a small crowd on the other end for about 5 seconds and then they hung up.

They have started calling me in the past few days. Only call once a day so far. Caller ID says Jimenez Omar. I do not know an Omar and I don't answer calls from people I don't know.

From Discover Card trying to sell credit protection. Could hardly understand the person, tried to get an acceptance on tape, after 3 NOs, hung up. Will call Discover with a complaint. Bogus caller ID!

See above. Just called Discover, it's not them! Beware, companies can get just enough information from your credit report to sound real. Was reported to Discover security.

called today and yesterday - and we are on the "No Call" list - comes up as "Vater, Chris"

I have been getting phone calls from this phone number. They said that it is from Discover Card, I called discover to let them know about what is going on.

Called at 7:01 PM Eastern.  No message.  Looks like they are messing with the Caller ID text.

Calling 2-3X a day. I bought new phones that can block now. This idiot is now blocked. Caller ID was Chris Vader. Adios Chris.

These people just started calling this week. I never pick up and they never leave a message. It is very annoying to get called five times a day.

They've been calling me about three times a day for two weeks. I never answer, because I don't know any "Theodore Boyds" and if I did, he'd leave a flipping message! Very annoying!

This is driving me absolutely nuts, they call about three or four times a day, I've never picked up, as the caller id just says "Colorado", I know no one in colorado nor do I have business there.

Good to see (well, bad) that others are going through this pesky annoyance too.

Caller didn't leave a message. Discover usually calls me several times a week trying to sell me credit protection, but this "Chris Vater" is a new one. Either it's a scam and someone has a list of people with Discover cards, or Discover is thinking up new ways to try to get people to answer the phone.

Call 2-3 times a day. Said it was Discover card but I said it was a bad time and hung up. They are still calling every day.

I called the number back and it rang once and then went busy.  I have been getting 2-3 phone calls a day it is just crazy??   The name that comes up is Chris Vader.  I don't believe that other people should be able to get at our credit reports, there should not even be credit reports for other's to get to!!!  I spoke with my Mother in law, she lives rigth beside me and she is getting calls from Jimenez Omar too.

OH MY GOD!! that same number is calling me too! thats freakin scary. I think i should report it to the cops, beacause i've read all the comments, and it looks like alot of people have been gettin the same call too. Thats really strange. I looked up the area code, and turns out its from colorado. I dont even live in that state!

Started getting calls from this number with ID of Vater Chris a couple days ago. The fist once or twice was ignorable, and whoever it is, never leaves a message on my answering machine. It started getting real annoying about the third day when the calls increased from twice a day during the day time to 6 or more times a day any time of day or night. Now that I see others are also having this problem, I will be reporting it to my phone service and also having them block this number from calling me anymore.

I received a call from this number but it showed up as "Omar Jimenez". They wanted to talk to someone in the household. I just hung up on them. Next time I will start swearing at them in German over the phone to see how they react!

IT IS A SCAM. Do not give them any information. It claims to be discovery card. Caller id says Omar Jimenez.
