I have a captioned phone. He started out saying he was from (blank) (I didn't get it, neither did the operator)
but it was something about a computer blah blah. When I asked the name of the company, he hung up. I was just looking at my calls record on the web an saw that the name of the company is "Voxeo". Going to Google it.

The number 1971-230-0396 called my house at 8:30am PST, I answered, no one was there.  I tried calling them back right after and it said the number was disconnected.  This is the first time they have called.  Hope they don't try again...

Got couple of calls today. Caller Id shows Portland OR 19712300396. They hung up when I picked up the phone.

BTW, 971 is an Oregon area code for the Portland and Salem Metro areas, usually a cell phone.

Keep getting these calls from different numbers. This one shows on caller ID as NY,NY 212-999-8686, but on my itemized bill, same call, same time, shows NY, NY 971-230-0396. Recorded message in Spanish. They are call spoofing. If you have comcast voice, immediately hang up and dial *57. It's a call trace back that forwards the number to local law enforcement. When the same numbers are forwarded over and over, they will investigate.

On my Phone Caller ID it said (360) 464-2411 Olympia WA but phone bill call record shows the number is (971) 230-0396.

where are you located? we received a call from this person. I called it also and so did the police.  It said it was disconected.  who are these people????

I have been receiving about 4 phone calls a day from this number.  It comes up in my comcast call list as:  Wales R & P....or  TN Removal List....or  Sales Dept.  But most of the time it comes up as Unknown.  When I tried to call the number back it says it is no longer in service.  I called about 5 minuetes after they called me.  Any idea what they are about???

They called me at 6:28 this morning, they asked for Rachelle Robinson. They knew where I lived. Keep close eye on your personal information with these guys.

Getting repeated calls from this number, no message left.  Caller ID comes up as "call center" so I wont even answer it

My dad met this lady on tagged. she started asking him for money to send her to Oregon to see him. oh, by the way she's in Africa, so she says. he gave her his number to call him and when she called she didn't say anything but she got caught on the voice mail. i couldn't make out what she was saying but i do know it was a girl and i could hear some people in the back ground like in a call center. I checked my e-bill for the time of the call and this number showed up (971) 230-0396. Now last time I checked this area code is in Salam, OR not Africa..... I wouldl say that this is an obivous scam of some sort and beware of these dating scammers all they want is your money. The old fashioned way of meeting people still works just get off your butts and go out there and find someone and get off the computer where all the nuts are. I will for surely share this message with my dad.

Sam as all of the others.  A male asked for my wife by name saying "Is Name there?"  When I said no he hung up.  I just received the second call but had no response after I said hello.  The next time I'll ask him to stop by  ;-)

I have received two phone calls from this number and the first time it was a man who asked for my girlfriend by her first name.  When I said no he hung up.  This number is not returnable with a "1" or as dialed.

weird,have had numerous calls from this number but show as coming from somewhere else on my caller id,Caller has asked for personal info and sometimes disguises their voice...got any info?  let me know

i have gotten numerous calls from this number,Please post any info you may have,Thunking it is some kind of scam as caller has asked for personal info on more than one occasion.

Unknown, doesnt leave voicemail or answer when called.
