We receive calls from this number every day, all times of the day, several times a day.  Same thing as well with the UNK on caller ID.  With the 972 area code, I assumed it was someone calling from the DWF area, but who knows.  It does get annoying.  I am 39 weeks pregnant, and when the baby gets here, I know I do not want the phone ringing at all times of the day.

I receive multiple daily calls from this number.  I do not answer as I have no idea who this is.

I think they are boiler room fund raisers.  But even when I answer, they don't say anything and when I don't answser; they don't leave a message.

Read your posting today when I was trying to trck down the source of a junk auto call received again today from the 972 area code, and it was the same source (PSOTX).  I have the same problem which you expressed, and I hate receiving those junk auto marketing calls.  I have been a Texas attorney for 14+ years, and there is almost nothing that can be done directly to stop these type of abusive calls, even if a number is unlisted.  The businesses who hold themselves out to be political or fundraising entities are accepted from the FCC laws which govern this type of crap, and stop auto calls based on lists, etc., although being on a don not call list should stop all of it.  If I could locate the actual source (or share the information), I woud like to be standing at their front door on Monday to get hold of their top person to stop this kind of crap.  A suggestion that I have which at least allows me to vent is to play along anonymously with any calls that are received until you get hold of a live person, and you at least have his/her attention enough to then press them to stop what they are doing (feel free to curse at them) or demand a name/number of an actual amanger or supervisor who can be called to stop these stunts.  Good luck.

PS, the call blocker service at *60 doesn't work on calls placed to a number from outside of that number's local calling area.  I know that because I've tried this numerous times to block junk/marketing numbers (including calling AT&T and raising hell with represnentatives and superviors)until they told me enough times that there was nothing I could do about it.

Did not answer. Already made a donation to Texas State Troopers two weeks ago.  If they need money that bad they need to talk to their State Representative.

And you know one can even donate to those organizations & they still keep calling!!!!!!!!---all year long.....

So very true! We just want to stay out of the red. Even newscasters ask for money for uninsured victims of arson and theft and weather calamities. I feel like hiding under a rock. Can't go anywhere without being asked for money for something.

972-546-1544 PSOTX is the Texas State Troopers Association.  They call me at least 5 to 6 times a day.  I usually don't answer, but tonight when they called at 9:00pm, I was annoyed enough to want to know who it was.

Also been getting these annoying calls from this number (972-546-1544) for the past several weeks.  I have not answered it and wont cause I screen the calls.  Something weird happens tho...it's as if the call is trying to access my phone to call forward.  Then a recording comes on saying that the call forwarding is not allowed and then hangs up...go figure.

There is no answer on the other line when I get calls from this.  Very frustrating.  Anyone know how to block or report them?

We keep getting calls from this number 972-325-0400 several times a day every day. Can the number be blocked on your phone? I looked in our att phone book and has instructions on using call blocker by pressing *60 and follow instructions.

The call has occurred 4 times within the last two days. They never leave a message and the number is identified as PSOTX.

I am glad to find this out on this Number - My caller ID comes up PSOTX, and I have also been told that this is a fundraiser boiler room operations, DON'T answer the call - ALL scam!!!

972-325-0400 Fund raisers usually say their representing Fire Fighters or Police association. Cant say if they are bogus but I dont ansewere when they call. Dont trust anyone that cant say who they are.

It is a fundraiser.  Unfortunately they as well as survey people are not affected by the "do not call" law.  Right now there is no way to get them to stop unless you ask them.  But of course we all know that doesn't work most of the time.  It's sad for good charities.  It makes me not want to give to charity.  I give a lot but whenever I do my phone calls increase by tons.  If there are any fundraisers reading this, you should re-think your strategy. The perception is that you are a telemarketer because you act like one.  Try leaving a nice message with a number back.  Then I might donate.   I have been bombarded with so many calls a day.  If they harass by calling a lot I do not answer and i do not give. Bill collectors are not this relentless!!

This caller calls almost every other day for the last few months. Sometimes they call 3-4 times a day.  They even call on Sundays. I never answer the call and they never leave any message.  I am on the Do not call list but still getting this annoying calls.  Don't know how to stop this disturbing calls.

We are having the same problem. This has been going on quit regularly for at least 4 months now.

Continuous for a week with multiple calls per day.  Called the number and got a canned message that it a "promotion".

I have been receiving calls from the same number (972) 325-0400 for a week now.  I called the number back today and it is "Promotion" call.  I plan on answering the next call and tell them to cease calling.  We'll see if it works.

called at 8:13am,  1:51pm, and 4:22pm today, as well as 11:13am, 1:45pm, and 3:56pm the day before. caller ID shows "UNK"
