Yesterday, Nov 10th, my mom got a NY call from 516-830-3932 (Off Caller ID) claiming to be from Publisher's Clearing House saying she won $495,000 ! They had her address already and wanted to come meet her today at 2:00pm. I finally got through on the above # with Marcos who claimed to be from Publisher's Clearing House, but was too busy to talk and didn't call back. Of course, we had security waiting for them, but they never showed up.
Like others' stories here, mom gets a follow up msg today from Ian Cooper @ 972-363-1005 (Latin accent) who claims to represent the Texas Border patrol. He wants to her to call him ASAP to arrange shipping her Publishers Clearing House package they're holding there.
I want to know how to bring down these scammers and shield my 89 year old mom from these predators?
