Best way to deal with these telemarketers is to to answer the phone and say "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING" just stay silent and drive them crazy, or turn on your radio or TV and leave it on and walk away.

A woman introduced herself as "Joan" from Titus.  She wanted to speak with my boss.  When I explained that he does not take unsolicited calls and that she would need to explain what she wanted to me she said, "I'll call him later this week" and hung up on me.  I have now told our receptionist to hang up on any number coming in from 972-555-5555. I know I certainly will.  When will these jerk sales people realize that the Admin has ultimate power to disconnect them and they should be nice to us? I remember voices and I remember how I'm treated.

Only wanted to speak to one certain individual about a project... Would not go in to detail with me... Then hung up.

He asked to speak with the owner by his first name.  I advised him that the owner was not in today.  He said that was fine his name was Jim from Titus in Dallas and he would contact the owner on Monday.

They just called our office demanding to speak with the owner. I advised the owner is never in and asked if I could help him. He said he refused to speak with anyone other than the owner. Then he hung up.

They have called a dozen times or more. I see the bogus # on my caller ID and don't answer. They never leave a message, just hang up after a second. I'm not surprised to see they are selling something about oil--similar people call me all the time. I'm not sure how I got on the wrong list, but I am.

Oil firm in Dallas Texas. I did my due diligence on this firm and they seem very respectable. But, I was not interested in investing at the moment.    Dr. J McDonough

LOL I just hung up with an arrogant *ss who became Very angry when I told him anyone calling with a bogus phone number could not be legit.

Really, 555-5555, just like in the movies? Please.
