Claimed my Asheville Saving Bank car was compromised and wanted car number, and ... then I hung up. All computerized.

Same BS here in Portland, OR. An automated call telling me they suspected my "First Tech Credit Union" card had been used for fraudulent activity. I've never even heard of "First Tech Credit Union". I swore at the phone and hung up. Phishing a**holes. I'm going to attempt to report this to iscom, their phone enabler. This kind of crap, however, never ends. I'd like just 5 minutes in a sealed room with any phisher.

Yeah they got me, these guys are fraud jerks, I caught it as soon as I put the phone down, After giving all my info, just not paying attention. I had to cancel my cards and everything these people need to get a life. DONT FALL FOR THIS #. they claim to call from your bank and say your card was comprimed, and as for all details, automated ofcourse. These guys need to get arrested on fraud charges. pass on the word!

This appears to be a phishing scam. Said my "City of Boston Credit Union" card had been suspended for "suspicious use". I don't have this card, of course. Asked for my 16 digit card number. I entered a bogus # and it said it was invalid (probably doing a mod-10 credit card number check). Then just asked over and over again for the #.
