CALL CAME IN AT 7 AM...SOUNDED LIKE A WOMAN, COULDN'T TELL WHO IT WAS

Call came in as "Texas". Recorded message saying "This is a collect call from..." and a different female voice quickly saying "it's me, call me back". Recording said press "1" to accept and "2" to deny. Pressed "2" to deny and got a recorded "thank you" before it hung up. Will be watching my next phone bill to make sure. When will someone invent a phone with a button to zap the computers generating these calls?

Calls come from a collect calling agency with calls made by individuals who use the service to call collect.  My son places all collect calls to me via this agency.

Caller ID showed 800Collect - 972/793-9912. Let machine pick up, left no answer

Collect call received on land line. Just heard for a second. Sounded foreign.  Hung up immediately.

caller Id showed 972-793-9912  (first call my machine was not on and this call it was) said, "you have a collect recorded phone call from Sherry" I do know who this woman is and it was her voice but since I do not accept ANY collect calls I hung up. 5/25/2008 at 2:40p.m.

A message on the answering machine had a request to accept a collect call from someone (the name sounded like Theresa).  I don't know a Theresa, but the request was repeated about 3 times before disconnecting.

Message was really garbled and I could not make out the name of the caller.
It was a male voice.
He called about 5 minutes ago too

Collect call came in from 972-793-9912 which is listed as a Texas number.
Caller left a last name of FOSTER.
I dont know anyone was TEXAS

a collect call from the psychiatric ward at the Presberterian Hospital in Dallas Texas.

Call came in collect and person coughed instead of giving a name

Just received the same call 3 times in the last 10 minutes.  I let the answering machine take it.  It said I had a collect call from  "William".  I don't know any Williams in the Dallas area.

Received five calls from this number in seven minutes. I did not answer the calls. I didn't recognize the number. Above the number it said 800 collect. Sounds like a scam what I read about other callers who received this same number. I want to stop whoever this is-very annoying.

what jail is that number 2 is it a jail in minnesota? my friends son has been trying 2 call a family friend 2 get his mothers new number they wont except the call he has mental health issues and his mother is very worried any info u could provide about this number would be helpful

i'm a bail bondsman in minnesota...   this # comes up everytime i get a collect call from a certain jail.

keeps calling me and it's collect, I answer and I get nothing. I believe it's a scam of some sort!

they called several times and I did not answer until 9:30 PM and they said it was a collect call I hung up and tried to call it back and it was a non working number
