At least I am in good broke grandma company! Ha! I thought I was kinda alone lately. I am also getting calls from this number. . . Probably medical I'm guessing; even with BCBS there are balances still out. . . If I can catch it in time while it's still ringing, I hit the green button, hit the # button multiple times then hit the red button on my cell phone. I was told this would kick my number out of the database.
They hang up because it is bill collector recon. They see what time of day is the best to contact you then some other number will begin calling you back with a live person. This is what I have been told anyway. Sounds silly but plausible.
Me? Foreclosure, Chapter 7, 4 emergency surgeries in 4 years and now the apartment complex I have lived in 3 years (and never been late); was foreclosed on and the new owners are making it impossible for me to stay; and I have no money/means to move. And you know there is no one to help with anything if you have no children, are employed, are not a minority, get no government assistance and not 62 years old; unless someone out there knows something I have not been able to find out. Homeless prevention is (I guess) for AFTER you move under the closest bridge. . .unless one is News worthy. Are you in Dallas? You need a roommate? Lol.

Getting hang up calls from this number. Probably a collection agency. I lost my house, went bancrupt, had major emergency surgery and had to move 2 times in the last 16 months. (Not in any particular order of importance.) Maybe someone will call them and find out for me (?) and then post their findings; since I'm too chicken and don't want to feel really bad today.  :(
