Some CC company online saying that I have been selected for something, I don't know what so I cut them off and tell them to take my # off their list. They have called no less than 25 times in the last few days, and at least ten times this morning since I told them to take me off their list. I am getting irritated as hell that there is nothing you can do about it. The # is a bogus # in New Jersey with no info on it.

Called repeatedly, claiming to be Dish Network. Called later than one would expect. But I'm on Do Not Call list, so kind of suspicious, especially in light of what others here have posted

A man with a East Indian accent identified himself as Terry with National Debt Bureau. Caller ID read 973-415-6197. He said that I owe over $5000 on my credit card. I said that I do not have a credit card. He said "you do not have a credit card?, ok our records must be wrong" and hung up.

Heavily accented men said that they had the last digits to my banking account number and needed additional information to be able to send me new Social Security Cards.  I made the mistake of giving the rest of my account number and address to these men.  They sounded so real!  The next morning I made a trip to the bank and froze all of my accounts.  I went to the reverse look-up and found that the phone number is listed in Bloomfield, NJ.

Today he hung up on me. He has called my Husband too and when he does not get the answere he wants hangs up.

Island accented female called asking about a person that worked out of the building a few months back.  I told them that person was no longer employed here.  She started telling me about additional money owed to them from the IRS.  Then she said that I could pick up this persons tax returns if I wanted to.  That they would just deposit them into my account if I would just give them the number.  How dumb do these people think we are?

Caller from number contacted local resident and claimed that since they paid their taxes on time they were entitled to 6 $500 deposits to their bank account.  They then requested the account number to make the deposit.  Local resident declined and contacted Police.  Right move!!  Nothing is free people!!!

Calling stating they want to verify your information so that they can send you a new social security card.  Even when they were told we didn't want a new card, they repeatedly call back.  I think these people are trying to pull a scam and steal people's identity!!!  Beware!!!
