I called their Toll Free number from my cell phone - gave them a phone number to call back on which wasnt my cell and they returned it thru the 973 area code instead of Houston Texas...

These people called about the last fees I owe on my GMAC car account. Mind you the car is all paid with the exception of the very last payment on a 5 year loan because of the economy. This phone number is a cellular exchange from Newark NJ so it seemed strange. The woman started to ask alot of personal questions that are not appropriate. If you get a call from this number I would check with the original bill, if in fact you owe anything. And I would never deal with someone that calls from a cell number.
PS - For the way that GMAC treats their loyal customers who have bought multiple vehicles from GM I would never buy another GM product in my lifetime. They got our taxpayer dollars only to treat us as garbage.

It is collectors (United Recovery Systems) wanting you to call 866-582-4085.
They bother people for Home Depot, etc.
