Man, Ned Steven's gutter service keeps changing the caller ID number.  

I had a contract with them in '07 & '08 to clean my gutters.  Did not renew the contract.  Have been fielding calls from then since.  I have REPEATEDLY asked (and told) them to stop calling me.

They haven't.

They were more expensive than the local guys - but at least they had insurance to cover any on the job injuries.  The cheaper guys do not.

They always found something wrong.  They always said I had to fix the problem immediately!  

When they can't use my water, they leave a black bag of debris on my front walkway, near the stairs.

They would never let me when they thought they would be out.  But for some extra mula, I could raise my status and get the time narrowed down to a week or two.

It was important to know when they are coming.  The guys put the ladder right in front of my front door.  Open the door - *crash* goes the ladder.  Yes, I did talk to the office about that.  Sometimes the ladder was to the side of my front door and sometimes not.  (This is the where them having their own insurance is important!)

I called them back and asked them to remove my number from their list.  Of course they don't want to do that and kept asking me a million questions, trying to sell their service.  I answered every question with 'stop calling'.  Fingers crossed that it works...

Called Ned Stevens for quote once and they have never stopped bugging me. What a pest!

I never answer cell calls from people I don't know.  If this was a call from Ned Stevens, I did contact them for an estimate to clean my gutters.  The price quoted was what I thought quite high, they did offer to come down $10.  So I just said Thanks for the quote and ended the conversation.  I hope repated calls are not in my future

yup they call me too.  extremely annoying.  plus they always find things "wrong".  Your $115 cleaning could be $400 by the time they are done... when I say no thanks, then I am a "preferred customer" and can get 20% off today only.

I never answer cell calls from people I don't know, however
I did have a company do my gutters in Oct for 99.00, cheapest around, GREAT job. They wanted me to sign on for auto pay but I don't like to do that. They mentioned they would clean twice a year. I agreed to one time to see how the service was, being the cheapest. they did a great job. two guys came to my house cleaned the gutters, my shed included even fixed one of my gutters and left. I called after the job was done gave my credit card # and that was it. Having said all that I don't know if it was Ned Stevens or not but I just received a missed call from the same number on this page

Who the hell is this and why are they calling me in Washington DC?

ned stevens calls my number regularly...there's no one on the line...they are a big pest, I'll never call them for service
