I just received a call from this number also. Same thing, someone said my name, then hung up.

I got a call from 973-894-3688 and as soon as they got me (after several attempts where I did not answer), they said my name, I answered, and they hung up.

I got a call too! Dead Air as well. I called it back and it said it no longer exists. Funny thing is I already got my "upgrade" from Sprint.

I recieved a call from this number.  And at first there was dead air, and I persisted and said hello and I finally recieved an answer.  It was a person (sounded like a novice telemarketer from the hesitation in his voice) claiming to be from SPRINT.  They wanted to upgrade me to a new phone.  I asked, "why are you calling from a 973 number not a 1-800 number" and he said they were in New Jersey.  Of course I know 973 is in New Jersey, but  if you really were official you would call Toll-free. I didn't push this point. It seemed all very sketcy and I declined any further conversation with the person on the other end.

Dead air after my 'hello'. Said 'hello' again and got 'hello' in response, then they hung up.
