"ditto " on the thanks posters. i did not  answer the call and with numerous messages above  i now do not care who is calling from New Jersey phone # 973-999-6543

calls once a day and i don't pick up. stops after 3 rings.  glad this site is around; from the former posts i now know i am dealign with a scam...thanks former posters who have expereince with this number....you made my day!

today, they claim to be the Maryland Fraternal Order of Police, however I live in MD, and just called the actual FOP and they say noone would be calling from a NJ phone number..it just never ends, does it?

no idea who or what this is. they call, noone at the other end, noone leaves a message, I block one number and they just call from another..has to be a telemarketer or one of those 'lower your interest rate' scams to get your credit card number

Caller ID states New Jersey # but no name..I did not answer. No message left on voice mail

This number calls several times a day.  Today they claimed to be collecting for Virginia Firefighters

They call once a day and no one ever picks up ... dead air.  I have reported them to the UBC.

I keep getting calls from this number.  There are all xxxxxx where the name should appear on the caller id. When I call it back, I get a message saying that the number is no longer in service.  How could this be???
