We receive calls regularly from this number - today five times.  My wife finally hit the number to find out who it was, and when she told them she wasn't interested in insurance for our vehicle, the woman agent literally said, "Then why did you answer the f**king call, b*tch?" and hung up. Not a word of a lie.  

When I tried to call the number back, it says the number is out of service.  Now I am even more interested in tracking this company down.

they call me all the time too, and they always hang up on me when I try to talk to them.  What a bunch of lowlifes these people are.  Sham business and horrible human beings.  Im trying to track down where the company is located so I can make a complaint to the better business bureau.  I suggest everyone do the same.  The more complaints they get the more likely someone will do something about it.  Thanks

I get calls from these creeps daily. Now when I get one of them on the phone, I blow a can of compressed air into the phone. I hope they all go deaf....

Has called several times daily over past couple days - never home but never leaves message - Call display shows number and "Private Caller". 978 area code is north of Boston area, don't know anyone there so this is good candidate for Shaw's call blocking (*60)service!

Keep get the same call from the same jerks, but it is a recording stating this is the second notice, call display says call is from Massachusetts. I hang up then they end up calling my other line a few minutes later. How can we ban these low_lifes?? There should be a law against these creeps especially since this is not from a legitamate company.

They called me in Western Canada this morning 4 times, left a 'hang up' message on my voicemail each time. Annoying!

Have been receiving automated calls from this number for quite some time.  Recorded message something like "final notice - the factory warranty on your vehicle has expired, please press 1 to renew your coverage".  I pressed 1 today to try to end these calls - the operator knew my name. When I asked which vehicle he was calling about, he asked me which vehicle I wanted to put coverage on.  When I said that they have been calling me for many months and I want to know which vehicle they are calling about he hung up on me.

This number has appeared on my call display about 6 times in the last 3 days. I am not home when they call and they do not leave any message. Today I was home and answered the call, but there was no one there. After about 30 seconds the call disconnected.

Just had them call twice. I just pick the phone up and hangup right away. I think I will start talking when I am bored. Keep them on the line for an hour or so.

I'm good at this. I once had a collection agency threaten to call the police if I didn 't stop calling them as I was scaring the staff.

Another time I got a local collection office closed down after I caused them to lose a national client after I complained to teh prseident and CEO of the Royal Bank.

I just got a call from this number and they didn't leave a voicemail. I tried calling back, but like everyone else was told the number wasn't in service. After reading the previous posts I'm wishing I had answered. I work at a bank and got a call from someone who had given these people all of her info and then after having done so, thought she should call the bank and see if it could be a scam. Sure enough it is. Looks like everyone on here is savvy enough to know better but obviously, DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFO!!

I just got off the phone with this number. My vehicle warranty just expired and my husband and I are actually looking into extending it so I opted to get the quote and listen to what the guy had to say. It sounded legit, I told my husband, he told me to look them up, nothing could be found besides this blog. Why do people waste their time and ours making us listen to this crap?

Unnecessary annoying calls.

I answered this once when I had my phone call forwarded to my cell. I don't have a car, and I was riding public transit at the time. I pressed 1 to speak to somebody, and they asked me for the make and year of my vehicle. I told them that I wasn't sure about the year but that it was a GMC. I asked them if they could help me determine the year by describing the vehicle, and I proceeded to tell them it sits 48 people, and several more standing up...at which I told them I was on a $%#@! bus and hung up. Bloody scammers

lol that's too funny,, you're harassing them,., I worked for a legitimate telemarketing company.. we treat anybody as potential customers, we are polite and if they asked us to take them off the calling list we do.. IT'S THE LAW!!! these scammers and fraudsters has frigged it up bad for legitimate  telemarkerters, yes I am also being harassed by this number 978-545-6763

Wanna have some fun - call the 1-866-973-5515 number and ask to be taken off the calling list - after they hang up on you a dozen times - they will tell you they are going to report YOU for harassing calls!!!

I received a call from this number and I have been Getting calls from alot of these U.S. numbers latley,I am on the DNS list and I answered the call, there was not one on the other end.  That makes me more mad than them calling me in the first place.  I was going to tell them to remove the number off of thier list.

Then I called the number back to tell them what I think, and the number as stated above is disconnected.  How can a number be displayed if it is disconnected???????,

I blame some of the phone companies for enabling these people and having shady practices for these telemarketers.  


I get an average of 10 calls a day from these type of numbers and I am on the Do not Call list.  So much for that call list helping out.

Just got another call from these scammers.. Reported then to the do not call registry.

I haven't answered any of these yet but they have called three times so far and left no message. I will have fun with them though. I tend to put two phones on speaker and turn up the volume for ear drum bursting feedback. It's always fun to hear the scream in the background because you know they all have some sort of earpiece in and it never comes out fast enough. Enjoy.:)

I get home, see I missed 3 calls from this number in the past hour.  I open laptop on and was literlly reading this site when they called again.  Same deal, car warranty scam.  I pressed "1" as instructed (because I do that type of thing), the guy answered "-something- warranty, how can I help you?"  I said, "you called me about my warranty".  He said "just forget it" and hung up!

WTF was that?

Rec'd a call fromm these idiotstelling me it was last call as the warranty on my vehicle was about to expire, blah, blah, blah.......so I pressed 1 for an agent, who immediately asked me for the make and model of my vehicle.  I just calmley told her I was  driving a 2006 Canadian Wheelchair and would she like to warranty that you F ---------g B----h?  Don't think I'll hear from them again,       but who knows.  Colossal gall................?

I got a couple of calls from this number today (July 22, 2009) - I answered the second time just to see what they had to say to me. It was a recorded message. I pressed 1 to speak with a "representative" when I started asking why they were phoning me and that I was on a no-call list - the rep responded that they were on a "don't press 1 list"... Obviously a reputable company with great customer service...

Got a call from a man claiming to represent Automotive Warranty Group... ON JULY 1! When asked where he was calling from, he claimed to be in Montreal... Fred went through what the warranty would cover on my 12 yr-ols Subaru... HECK a better than NEW car warranty for 5 years...

He was pressuring for me to renew NOW! When I asked that he send me a copy of the contract, as I wouldn't give any information over the phone without some documentation. He agreed that he would... and he gave me another number with an extension #... but he answered right off  the 2nd ring!

My dealer (yes, I still have my 12 y.o. car serviced at Bay Subaru in Belleville) tells me it's one a few scams in the industry where they get registration information from the MTO and call a year after the car was licensed...















The next Tuesday, another call from Fred, asking for me... told him that the person he was calling for was away, but would be home later...

He called later, suggested I had asked him to call me... when I told him I was still waiting for documents, he shuffle some papers and confirmed the stuff had been sent as promised and, he could extend my warranty right away! He couldn't say when documentation WAS sent.

I've got these calls constantly over the last 6 - 8 months - always in bursts - not just on home phone but on cell as well which is really annoying.  There has been lots of press about this 'company' and that it is entirely a scam - no one should be doing business with them!  Apparently, they have no link to your car warranty they just hope to make a match with someone their sales line fits and will take action.

how did you call them back?  what number?   I can never get through to them and I want to do that rocket ship thing lol.  Whats wrong with people?  this business is so ridiculous. I wish them a speedy trip to hell.

Don't answer it.  Just avoid this telemarketing or scam.

Same as others. My husband pickedup once and then hung up right away. He said it was about a warranty.  He is now clued in so won't answer the phone anymore.  Thanks you morons at 978 545 6763, what goes around etc.etc.

I got this call July 14, 2009 at 1125EDT in Toronto, Canada. The message played said something about my car insurance expiring but the second half of the message was very choppy. I pressed 1 and after about 5-6 rings, a man answered. He asked "Do you want to renew your car warranty?" I replied "For what car?(I have two)" He replied with another firm "Do  you want to renew your warranty?" I replied "I'm on the do not call list, can you please take me off your list?...Oh I guess your don't have that either" I hung up thinking "Idiot".
