Recorded voice says "Anthem Blue Cross". Caller ID says "Beverly MA". Area code 978 is in Massachusetts. Recorded voice asked for a family member who is NOT the premium payer. We have Anthem Blue Cross, but it is administered on the West Coast. So, this must be a bill collector masquerading as a legitimate company. This is against the TCPA.

I received the same call about the same time - it went to my voice mail. The only thing I heard was part of a message asking if I had a mammogram. I'm male.
I don't know why annoyed consumer assumes this is a bill collector - I have Anthem but owe them more money.
It's more likely this message was sent by mistake. I have received no further calls since then.

Oops- I meant to say I have Anthem but owe them *no* money, nor do I have any outstanding debts.

Got a real person voice message. Knows my first name. He quickly said something that sound like he was saying his first name but I couldn't hear what he said. He asked me, in a tone as if he were a friend, to call back. About 20-30 seconds after this first call, another call from a recorded message saying there is an important message for another family member but should call back an 866- number.
