Not  a scam, they call almost too conscientiously, every aspect of the processing of your Rx order they call and call. We received it. We are processing it. We are typing the label with TLC. It is being mailed.  etc.

I receive same message twice I think is a scam

got a phone call from this number today and when the person who they called for wasn't available they said to "call the number on the back of her card to call back to speak to a rep". never said anything about WHAT card to look at. we called back the number and it was an automated msg saying "thank you for calling back we were calling about an important reminder, please refer to the number on the back of your id card"... that was it. after reading some of the other comments on this page left about this number... it makes sense. we had just gone to the pharmacy and were unable to fill an Rx because of how expensive it was going to be.. strange tho that they had this company call us back and even stranger that we haven't been able to speak to a LIVE person since... catamaran is the company showing on the caller id.

Not a Scam the number that they want you to call back is on the back of your health insurance card listed for Pharmacy or prescriptions.

NOT A SCAM. Got the recorded call from Catamaran this morning. It is a company that works with your health insurance company for pre-approve on a prescription drug.  I have Freedom Insurance but it is also for other Blue Cross/Medicare insurances.The number they want you to call on the back of your ID card, is the number for prescriptions that is on the back of your members insurance card.  My Freedom card just says Pharmacy Technical Support 1-888-706-0421. I called it and it was answered as Catamaran. A recording verified who I was by asking date of birth and insurance ID number. They it told me that I was approved for the prescription. I called my doctor to verify this was correct and they said yes they also got the approval this morning.

automated message to verify that I am the person, proceeded to tell me that they have to verify my date of birth for security reason.  Was told that there is an important message for me please call number of my ID card.    ?????? what ID card??????? tried to call back but always receive the identical answer "call number on ID card"

just received the idential call but not not find out who it is, can anyone help?

Received a strange recorded call request to call the number on the back of my Catamaran card.  Telephone listed the number as coming from Beverly, MA.  Don't know what a Catamaran card is and don't own one.  Sounds like another scam...

I received a call from this number???   Tried reverse lookup and  I dialed number and received a recorded message about a reverse number on back of card???   Who is this??????

Received same call but did not order any prescriptions. Must be a scam and only works if you answer the phone. They probably ask for information............

This number is for Catamaran. It's the company that regulates the prescriptions for Blue Cross/Medicare (at least in Rhode Island). They left a recorded message regarding a Rx that is not covered.
