So I have been receiving a call from Jason Scoot with Warner &Green Associates Saying that they are taking me to court on  3 different charges for taking out a payday loan. I t came from a 909--752-0039 number. I contacted my atorney and have yet to hear back from these people. They are also saying that the guys name is John Ward . Does anyone have any info onthis company?

Go to the FTC website and search for fair debt collection.  You should be able to find out everything that you need to know to deal with these people.  If your daughter does indeed owe money to someone, have her call that company directly and see if she can work something out with them.  The debt collector that is calling you must give you that information and must send you a notice in writing.  Everything should be done in writing with certified letters so that a paper trail is formed.  Then if you ever have to go to court, you have proof that you've tried to work with them.  Keep track of all conversations and save any messages.

Please do not give them any information over the phone.  Look up the fair credit act to see what companies can and cannot legally do.  They cannot threaten anybody and if they are not willing to give you an address, odds are they are not operating legally.

First of all, this person whoever he is keeps calling my home even after I told him my daughter Sarah doesn't live there anymore.  She moved out over 2 years ago.  He told he was calling on a debt that she owes from 2008.  He called me a liar, he became very beligerant so I hung up on him.   I gave the phone number to my daughter to find out what this was all about.  Again he told her it was for a debt from 2008 an overdrawn check he said for $50.00.  Her debt now to his "client" is $780.00 but if she paid $350.00 before the end of December 2011 the debt would be forgiven.  She panicked.  The family pitched in, got $350.00 for her.  She asked for some sort of statement to send a money order to and he insisted on either her credit card number or debit card number.  They don't accept mail in payments.  Her credit is awful, she does not have a credit card nor a checking/savings account to have a debit card.  This person keeps calling our house and hers.  I never heard of a place not taking a money order.  It's ready cash.

I got a call from them they pretended to be social security.The recorded message said the same thing social security says when you call them but when you answer one of the options they give you it goes dead and when you call back the same number they answer and it is a debt collection agency.I am calling social security today and informing them about this

Forgot to mention that I told him that I would like their address, and Jason informed me that they could not divulge that information.  Really?!?  They obviously didn't want the money that bad.

Received a call from them also, but from a blocked number.  The number they gave me to call them back was 843-300-1468 and the person's name was Jason Scott.  Told him I couldn't find anything about them on the internet and he informed me that that was because they hadn't had any complaints.  Since we are all 2012 calls (except Sammy), my guess is they just started up or were under another name at another time.

When I asked to have them send me notification in writing he informed me that it would be too late.  I told him that I wouldn't give out any account information so he said I could use a bill pay card from Wal-mart.  Anyway, when I called the company that he said I had the debt with, they didn't have any record of it AND they said that they had never heard of Fairview and Associates even though Jason said he was the "mediator" for the company. She told me she would report it to their in-house collectors.  

Be super careful on who you give information to! Keep us posted on what happens with you all.

Don't pay attention to the shill.  They threatened me with getting served too and guess what?  The date and time has well passed, and take a guess..............no summons.  What a shock!  Report them to the Attorney General, the FTC, and anybody else that will take a report.

I thought Fairview & Associates was just another collection company. I took out a payday loan and closed my account. When this company called me I hung up on them thinking it would go away. Then a couple of days ago i was served a summons for an appearance in the county courts there is a pending fraud charge they are filing agaist me. Then I called them back to work out something and they said they could not assist me anymore. Beware this Law firm is for real and they will sue you. I go to court January 20, 2012 I will come back to update you with what happened.

SCAM!!  Don't fall for anything they tell you.
