Called me and said "can I come over yo ur house?" I said no and he tracked me down and showed up at my house the next day! Is how I know it was him?!? HE HAD THE SAME VOICE!!!!!! BETTER WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE!!!!!!!!

The rude a**les who make these calls have a quota of calls per hour so I play along and keep them on the line as long as possible. I promise a sizable donation and then ask question after question until they get frustrated and hang up. It works they never call twice.

I received a call from this number.  Caller asked for my husband, using only his first name.  I asked who was calling and she said she was from the Michigan Veterans Foundation.  I checked the Better Business Bureau listing of charities in Michigan, and they said that name did not match any charity reports.  I suspect it's just another scam.

I asked who is it, he didn't answer, but asked again, in a creepy way.
I hung up.

It is actually the Obama re-election campaign nagging for money. The DNC list is exempt from charitable and political calls.

It is the Michigan Veterans Foundation asking for donations.

Got calls from these folks before, and they don't listen. Told them to drop my number and even though they are immune to the do not call list they are required to remove your number when told to do so. They just stop for awhile and then come fall they come back. Sound like your local public tv station?

Just received a call from this number we did not recognize, so let it dump into the answering machine.  However, no message left, just hung up.  Note that others have reported that it is apparently a sales call from Michigan Veterans Affairs, we guess...

I picked up the phone without looking at the caller ID, as I was expecting a friend to call me right back.  The man said he was collecting donations for the mentally handicapped veterans.  He basically just wanted a credit card number.  I asked for his U.S. tax ID (even 503C, non-profits have one).  He hung up, so this is obviously a scam.

Just got a call from this # Saginaw and was asked for by name.   asked what they wanted and response was donations to help homless mich vets..I replied that the VA takes care of their own as does the vfw. I told the caller he should be ashamed for running such a scam. If yo uwant to help vets call the local VA or vfw trust no one else.  It's a discrace.

So sick of these phone calls and being harassed on a daily basis. Why doesn't the FCC do something?! In time, our lawyer will take care of it. It's definitely bogus and I refuse to give to them. They claimed to call only once a year. It's funny I just had the same organization just call me a couple of weeks ago... And you wonder why donations are down.

Got a call from this number and it said Michigan on it but was not a number I knew so I didn't answer it.

ID said "michigan"  I didn't answer. I wish instead of  "no call" with exceptions it should be illegal for
everyone. I would rather get junk mail than be disturbed by phone calls. I also think that we get so many more now because they haven't been able to get cell numbers yet.

Asked for me by name...........I asked who was calling.............she said Disabled Veterans........I hung up!  I don't trust these callers!

Called the other night.  Talked to my wife.  Asking to donate to help Disabled Vets.  My wife told them I am a Disabled Vet and thanked them.  They called again today.  I hung up as soon as I heard a voice.  I doubt the legitimacy of this number.  It should say where it is coming from, not "Michigan".  If you want to donate to Disabled Vets, or any other Service Organization (VFW, AMVETS, American Legion, USO, etc.), call the organization and ask how.  They have procedures for making sure it gets where it is supposed to go.

I just called thru an untraceable number and Found out this is from the Veterns Affair Bureau, Doing a Daily SALES Call,     Mystery solved.

We are new to town and they called looking for the previous owner of our phone number.  I figured it was just someone else looking to collect money for unpaid bills from the other person and figured I'd help update their records and prevent them from calling us again.  The man at the other end said he was collecting money for the mentally handicapped.  He hung up when I asked for information to research their organization.  Obviously this isn't a well though out scam.

I just got a call, too.  A woman asked for my husband.  I said he wasn't here, could I take a message.  (We get calls from his work from all areas, plus family in that area code, or I would have ignored it.)  Was asnwered, No, and hung up on.  How lovely.

they keep calling, never a message, concerned me as I have family in that area and worried something might be wrong, tried to call back, no answer.

I answered it because they call so often and yes it was to GIVE MONEY to honor our vets. SORRY NO MONEY

I am unemployed i told them that i could not donate any money yet they still keep calling. They say there are collecting money for disabled veterans. I do not trust them.

found out this is the number of the Michigan Veterans Assoc, 2770 Park Ave, Detroit 48201 - this is also a republican organization - I,  like others do not trust any organization that asks for money, especially over the phone. This puts bad light on the Michigan Veterans.
