This number was on my caller ID - No message was left.  On internet investigation, it looks like it may be another creep.

OH and now they have it so a Diff number shows up for every organisation they call for

They are a company that calls for a bunch of non-profits... if you ever gave to one of them once you will be called for EVERY program. some of the programs are Marine Corps League and the Auxillary, American Legion of Bay City MI, Child Crisis Network, National Federation for the Blind, Michigan Veterans Federation.... Those are the ones I remember.... They have an 80-20 split.... 20% goes to the non-profit... They also use those auto dialers so it will hang up on you after a while..... and even if you are registered with the Do Not Call list doesn't matter.... since they are calling for a non profit it means that the list doesn't apply to them.... so basically if you have a land line and live in MI you are bound to be called at some point and time

This outfit is a telemarketing "hired gun" that, according to its own Web site, does everything from soup to nuts in telemarketing: direct (junk) mailing, residential (junk) calling, political fundraising and about every other intrusive, UNWANTED contact.  Everything by phone, except the political calling, which our lousy politicians have conveniently exempted themselves from, is ILLEGAL if you're on the DO NOT CALL list, but that's a national joke.  None of these telemarketers pay any attemtion to it.  The only way I've found to stop these jokers is to block their calls.

They called and left no mssg.I called them back and they answered MI Veterans Foundation. They're using the identity of a company in Saginaw (CDI), so it immediately smells bad. If the call is for a good cause, why not use their own identity? And, what kind of name is this giving CDI?

Came up on my caller ID, same as other; no message was left and it said CDI

they hung up immediately after i answered. Caller ID came up as "CDI"

they are trying to get money for homeless veterans. I just called them and they put my number on their do not call list. Guess I will see how that works

They are a solicitation call center located in Bay City, MI. One of the groups using their facility is a Veterans group.

First time I got a call from this # was today - I don't even use my home phone number and everyone I know has my cell including doc offices and schools - Didn't answer for this reason waiting to see if they left a message - They hung up on 4th ring right before the answering machine picked up

on caller id it showed up as champion. Didnt leave a message.

The phone number showed up on my caller ID.  It showed as:  CDI 989-671-2248.
