Gave a Confirmation Code and the phone number 202-657-4335. I was aware from "hello" this was a scam so did not call but took information so I could report them and possibly help anyone who may have been victimized by these predators. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHONE NUMBER GIVEN TO CALL IS DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE OTHERS ARE RECEIVING THOUGH DOES USE THE SAME AREA CODE (202).

Same thing with me load 260 on moneypak and will load 5000 on card then 2000 cash. There is way to many scams going on the number I got was 202-657-4335 and ask for Micheal King. I know better. Thank god but some people don't.

I had the very same "Government Grant" India accent $10000 for $220 on a green dot. I sent it they ask for more. I also receive calls from these 1-202-567-9055 ( the guy was rude and cussed me. After I told him it was a scam) 1-202-697-9980.

I got a call to put $265. on a Green For prepaid card to get $7,000. They had and Indian accent.

Just got a call from (202) 738-1131 stating the US gov has a grant for me and they need my info to deposit it into my account. Obviously BS,  I starting messing with them asking things like what is the name of the grant? Who initiated the grant? I did not apply for a grant so why are you contacting me? Why do you have an American name like Susan and have such a thick indian accent? As I chuckled she got mad and started cursing at me and of course the cursing didn't make sense like Sh...t bull fu...k lol. at least have proper cursing grammar. ....

I was jus randomy "chosen" today to win a grant of 7000$ but had to buy a green dot card frm money box for 280$ then my money wil be directy deposited frm the same guy with the accent but the numb was 509-207-4102 frm washington knew all my information and cave me a confirmation code as well be careful ppl

These people calls me want me to send them $250 so I can receive 9,000 and the $250 will be back on my credit card with the 9,000 in like 20min after I send them money!!! I look up on the internet and thanks to guys I did get jack......

I just was talking to a Patrick about how I "WON" $6,700 and got into a heated discussion about how I think it's a scam and he kept saying it was not and he just needed to verify my information. I said "okay verify." Then he asked me my marital status. I said "if you are calling because you have been given my information from the government that I have been living in my entire life and have been paying taxes to since I started working at the age of 17 they would have that information for you." He said he does have it so I asked what it says. they had the marital status right. he then tried to prove how he was right with his argument and I said to ask me something else. He said I am 27. LIE! I caught him! I said that if MY COUNTRY had given him MY information to VERIFY they would have given my correct age! He then said I was wasting his time! I told him to put me on with his supervisor so I could stop "wasting" his time. He put me on with a "John Williams" (Both "Patrick" and "John" were clearly Indian as I could barely understand what was being said on their end!) I talked to "John", he told me that they will send me check/cash or Direct deposit. first of all the Government doesn't send you CASH! I okay I'm done talking to you and he said he was leaving for the day and that he could put me back on with Patrick. so Patrick came back on. after some more "verification" he asked me what I planned to use the grant for, House repairs, bills, ect. I asked "If I say what I will use it for can it only be used for that? like if I tell you House repairs can I go shopping with it?" and then the call was dropped. (Think I pissed him off LOL) So then I google'd and found your comment here. called this number and asked to talk to John Williams or Patrick. he gave me the run-a-round I told him that Patrick says I'm to get 6700 and he says no, you get 7849 but I need to pay processing fee's I said no. I said "okay Listen to what I am about to say, it is very very important. 1st I can hear the lady in the background and she is VERY loud! very unprofessional." He messes with the mic a bit then asks if it was better then I said "yes. now, secondly. Are you listening closely?" he said "Yes" I continued "Good, what your doing IS a SCAM and you can take the 6700 that patrick was supposed to give me and the 7849 that you are supposed to give me and SUCK IT! and QUIT CALLING ME!! TAKE MY NUMBER OFF!" I'm pretty annoyed right now! oh BTW they said they all work in DC. suuure buddy, one thing I've learned was to never believe Indian's on a phone. (I'm Cherokee and they give Indians a bad name)

I got the same call but from the number 1(202) 621-5429 telling me that i had to call to (202) 683-9893 and i didnt know if it was real so i didnt call the number so i ignore it and today i got another call from the same number telling me the same thing.

Yeah I just got a call from (202)657-5393 said the name was ryan smith and said I was chosen to receive a government grant in the amount of 7,849 dollars but I had to pay a $270.00 processing fee and it would be on my prepaidcard the same day.this is crazy they need to dtop these scams.how do I report this?

Got a call and was told to go to Western Union money store and call Brian Teller at 2027351667 to recieve $7000 cash. Needless to say, too good to be true.

I recieved a call from the number 202-621-0604. Saying his name was Ryan green. He sure didn't sound like a ryan. But told me to send $400 and I would receive $15, 000. I questioned alot and didnt get anywhere.

I am eligible for a 7000 dollar grant! call came from Washington DC (202)621-5429.  I was to call back the supervisor with my confirmation code at (202)697-9274 and ask for Lisa Ray.  Obviously I am not making the call.

I received a call (202-506-1967) from someone claiming that they were calling from the government to give me $9,000.00 grant money because I pay taxes on time,have no bankruptcies in last 6 months, and no criminal record. They told me to call (315-636-5380) to get the info for them to western union. I just needed to pay a $280.00 processing fee. BEWARE! BIG SCAM! Please get them to stop calling!!!!!

I just received a call from 202 621 5429 flaming the same thing bout a 7000 dollar grant and I knew it was a scam cuz he sounded like the same guy that tried to scam me on I red bull AD so don't fall for the red bull car wrap either

8 calls in the past two days from 202-666-5005. Most calls were only 45 minutes apart and no one answered when I answered the phone.

this is another federal grant number scam 202-241-4094. I received my Id number and I was to call the 202 number back but since I elected to use western union they never called me back after I had called and gave them the ID number the first caller gave me. I blocked my number and called them back saying I never received my Id number gave them a bogus name and he said he would call back. What a joke.

I just received a call claiming that I was eligible to receive $7,000 tax free money from the government. Some guy with a heavy accent and a random name, Blake Miller, said if I Pay $299 on a green dot card they will send it. LMAO can this still be happening. Im more concerned about how they have my name, address, and number.
