IT'S A SCAM.  -  They call often from different #s in Michigan. Kalamazoo and Wayne.  They tried to give me a 120$ BP gas card if I would just pay the shipping of 9.95$.  I told the lady that I heard about this scam and she starting yelling at me that this isn't a scam. They have the last 4 digits of your visa debit or CC, your name and the exp. date.  They want you to give them the first twelve digits so they can run up phony transactions.  The funny thing was they gave me the last 4 digits of a card I cancelled last month because I thought they had too much info on me.  IT'S A SCAM.

These people that pay for this phone number will not stop calling.  It is really getting annoying, especially when no one says anything when I answer my phone.  I did get someone a few weeks ago, by using *69,to answer this phone number and I told this person I did not appreciate calls to my home at midnight and that I am on the "DO NOT CALL" list.  I was reassured that I would not get any more calls from some kind of survey company.  I still receive these calls.  I do use Vonage as my phone carrier which records every call made and received.  So these people are going to force me to file harassment charges.

This number keeps calling us over and over each day and they hang up when we answer.  They call on our cell so we can't block it.

We tracked the number down through ph# software that anyone can get off the internet.

i was a telemarketer once for kirby vacuum cleaners. I set my own appointments. I feel for those lazy people who dont have anything better to do with their lives but annoy people!

this phone number is bugging me, got multiple calls this past few days,no body answers on the other line and it does not ring when i try to call back to figure out who is calling.

They have called me today 3x's and the last time I answered the phone.  They asked for my fiance.  I told her I was his wife and she could speak with me and she hung up.  I'm tired of this person calling my cell phone.  My fiance isn't even on the account.  I'm getting PO'd...When you try to call back it rings busy...She is probably calling other ppl as we speak.  I wish we could take turn ringing her dang phone all day.  I wish we knew who this was calling!

They started calling me a couple days ago and have called twice every day since.  I don't answer phone numbers that are not familiar to me so I'm hoping they just stop calling sooner or later.  My phone number is also listed on Do Not Call but as I understand it, if the company is not selling anything, they can get passed that DNC list.  And you know it's not professional because they don't leave a message.  I hate this!!

I answer, no response from caller. When she did talk, I told her I did not inquire about Gov Grants. Still get 2 to 3 calls a day. I am going to do the "call trace" 3 times to initiate a legal stand. (*57)($1.50/call) I ain't rich, but if it get's them to stop, it's worth the $4.50.

I am receiving phone calls from the scum company at least 1-2 times a day. I called them back and told them not to call but they just hung up.

I added the number to my address book under the name of "SCUM" and set the ring tone to "none". My phone doesn't ring when they call but I do see a missed call message.

they called me right now and somebody told me "we are looking for Ahmed" I surprised so much how did they know my name? I heard some noise as a background and the line disconnected after 10 sec.

These guys freaked me out... I was expecting a call from the EDD for a telephone interview when they called. I answered and they hung up...I saw the 213 area code and thought omg that was the Unemployment Office, why did they hang up? I called back and got the fast busy signal...now I was sure it was the UI office because you can never get through to them either! Anyway, finally got smart and Googled the number

This call is a SCAM. They tell you you have government grants that are "all yours" and tell you all you have to do is pay $1.99 for the package they are going to send you. They will do their best to get your bank information and then wipe you out clean. Be smart. They change numbers every once in a while. If you answer and talk to the person and tell them you don't recall applying for that grant they get nervous and thank you and hang up. It is illegal what they're doing so call them on it and they should leave you alone.

This number shows up on my cell phone ID everyday at least 3 times a day. I have not tried to call this number back.  I've had someone to call me from that area code before that tried to scam me out of money. So now i do not answer the call and they do not leave a voice mail.

When I answered they asked me what I wanted to use the grant money for.  I asked them what grant money, and they said the grant money I applied for.  When I told them I didn't apply for any grant money she said that's how she got my number...

This number 213-239-2891 keeps calling my cell phone.  Its been going on and off for about 2 months.  I have told them to stop calling me.  When they call now and I answer the phone they hang up on me.  When I try to call the number back its either busy or the call can't be completed.  I have filed complaints with the FTC, FCC and the DNC.  Nothing has been done.  They are still calling me.  I finally had to get the number blocked from my phone.

I just got a call from this same number but couldn't answer as I was in a meeting.  I get a call from this number at least 2 times a day.  I have been ignoring it but it is still irritating.  I am going to try to answer it the next time and say "Miami-Dade FBI, how can I direct your call"...I've heard if you answer the phone and pretend you are authorities, they will probably stop calling...
