Fort Worth, TX 76155
they are in major violation of FCC telecommunications do not call laws. on top of that, they are stealing from people by adding charges to credit card bills and making it impossible to have these charges erased.
please report them to the FCC.

hi, i was desperate and took a job with Novo1 call center in Billings, MT. i had a bad feeling from the start. on the first day of training, our trainer kept telling us that if an irate caller calls us and complains about something they didnt order, costing at least $20, we were to tell them to write to a fake address in minnesota. the trainer lady joked that the address was a vacant lot!!! she was telling us to lie!!!!
i stayed for about 9 hours of training in all. during the last few hours of my career there, i had to accept dozens of calls from IRATE callers who sounded for the most part, very low income, seniors, gullible, basically, the poorest of the poor. and we had to keep lying to these people over and over. and when someone with a little fortitude asked to speak to the manager, we had to say that the manager was not available or some damn lie--the manager refused to speak to them. these poor callers were told to write to that fake address in minnesota--a vacant lot! novo 1 is based in fort worth, tx.

These calls are from a marketing company called Novo 1. They usually call former/current/new customers of phone companies like AT&T and Verizon to sell additional services or to lure back lost customers. Sometimes they call to conduct political polls or marketing surveys. They do not honor the state/federal do not call lists. They use really bad predictive dialing machines, so most of the time when you answer the phone they will hang up on you like some crazy psycho stalker.
HermanUSA - Florida 2011-06-06 20:44:06 Unknown
Since our new tel. line was setup the only calls we get are from Novo 1 and some other company's all referring to ATT with a sneaky iterrogation technique to set you up with a long term binding contract, you only need to tell them your info and zip even they're asking questions where the answer only can be yes. We had terrible telemarketing businesses in Europe, but here it is even worse, I'd expected that no-call lists and government would help preventing this but unfortunately it doesn't look that way.

We get calls like this one all the time where they call on behalf of AT&T or Verizon trying to get us better rates. One guy started to ask how many computers we had, so I asked him who he was and what company he was with. He gave me his name but only said he was calling on behalf of AT&T. We asked him to stop calling at that point.

Novo 1 working for ATT. Call ATT 866-429-7222 or 800-342-3212 to complain. It seems ATT is taking them to Palm Springs to celebrate what a great company they are. Tell ATT you will pull your lines if this does not stop!! Their reception number is 301-361-1111

I have been getting this call for a few days now. When I answer no one says anything and then hangs up. I think I am going to call the toll free number like crazy everyday until I die.

I received this phone "240-294-1590" call our shop almost every day and he/ she is very rude. They even say the bad word. The next time when they call, I picked the phone and they hang up again. I told them that DO NOT CALL US ANY MORE but they are still call. Today they call again and they hang up on me as well.

This company calls me many times a day and it's very annoying. I'm on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.
Natalie 2009-07-15 20:46:56 Unknown
I get calls from several companies claiming that they are calling on behalf of AT&T. But when I talk to my rep from AT&T, she says that they actually have no affiliation with them. I even had one company send out people to our business 2 times to see if we were getting our "rate adjustment" just so that they could see our phone bill. These places are so shady that I will never switch my services for anything. They try and get our business by lying to us about who they are and why they want to talk to us...screw that. Is the economy so bad that this is the only job that these people can find? I would rather lick a toilette seat at the "Staples Center" than do to people what these slack jawed, knuckle dragging, cross-eyed, knock kneed, buck-toothed, still living at home with their parents, top 10 under achievers of whatever city they live in, do.
Natalie 2009-07-15 20:25:49 Unknown
Don't worry, they can't ruin your credit. They are a fraudulent company and don't report anything to anyone. They just talk like they can.

Got a call today, guy said my phone number has been "taken away" from At&t said my account was "flagged"... this is a bigtime scam. Hung up on him
Marilyn 2008-07-23 00:57:31 Unknown
Got a call from this company today, and they asked for me by my full first and last name. They claimed to be from Verizon but clearly knew nothing about the service I have currently. In Washington, it is easy to guess someone might be a Verizon customer, as probably over 70% of telephone customers have their service here. Since they had my full name, I guessed they might have looked under the business license listings which are public. My name is not on the Verizon account. I interrupted them and hung up.
Sherm 2008-04-30 20:46:03 Unknown
These people are pests. I don't answer their calls.

Novo 1 calling for AT&T. Please call AT&T at 866-429-7222 to complain as AT&T Group President John T Stankey has publicly stated how well they work together, awarding them the 2007 Circle of Excellence Award, and taking Novo 1 executives to Palm Springs March 2008 as an award.

Said they were from Verizon and wanted to know if I wanted their internet service. Since I am a Verizon customer, not sure there is anything I can do about these people calling me.

Had previously been receiving multiple calls from another number of theirs, 866-759-5447. I called the main number yesterday and spoke to someone about removal. I then received a call from the 240 number this morning. This time I called back and with a little more urgency demanded that my number be removed. She wanted to ask my name. I said "you're calling me, you should know!". Thirty minutes later, I recieve another call. I'm livid so I put my Google skills to the test. I have found a DIRECT line to the CEO of the Maryland unit of Novo 1. I got voicemail but I figure if they can ring my phone off the hook, I'll ring his. Let's give them their medicine in return.

I was called by this number and asked if I was the person handling the billing on the Verizon account. I asked the caller to identify himself, and he said his name was Mr. Rudolph. I further asked him what company he represented and he said he was calling on behalf of Verizon. When I told him I didn't believe him, he hung up on me.

Received two calls from the 240-294-1590 number today. According to my phone book, the (240) area code is for New Guinea??? How can they get away with this? Anyway called the 1-800 # and was told I would not be called again... But since I'm on the Nat. Do Not Call Registry and have no business relationship with this company (that I know of), I should'nt have been called in the first place.

Well, I just got my first call at work.
A man called and said "Can I speak with the person who manages your AT&T account for your company?". I work in IT and regularly instruct our users on how to spot a phishing or social engineering scam so I was on to this guy immediately. I asked him "And what company are you calling?". He paused for a second then said our company name. I told him we didn't use AT&T and he quickly hung up.
A SCAM FOR SURE!!

Got my first call from them this evening, interrupting my dinner. I'm sure there will be more calls from them. The answering machine picked up the line before I could get to the phone, and they hung up on it without leaving a message. Thanks for posting their toll-free number to call for getting added to their no-call list. I'll give that a try and see if I can head off any future harassing calls from these jerks.

These people called me yesterday and I quickly told them I don't accept telemarketing calls. They called again this moring. When I saw their number on my caller ID, I simply pressed the talk button and then hung up without any communication.

I have been receiving lots of calls from Nova and after I seen this page I received another. His name was Steve, I asked him if this was a temarketing call and he said yes. I told him not to call again. Very annoying
