Today, I received about 4 calls from this number before I decided to answer. A gentleman with a heavy Indian accent was advising me he was calling from http://www.adventglobal.com/ He was telling me that he was calling from a job agency with an opening in my area. He sent me an email with details about the position and starting pay. Since I'm currently unemployed, it seemed great. He said to answer the questionnaire and send it back to get the application going. As soon as I started to ask more questions, he transferred me to his supervisor, a woman with an Indian accent as well. She asked me if I was interested and I advised I would look over the app and give them a call in about 5 min. As soon as they hung up, I called back to the number I was called by. First silence. Then, finally began to ring, no answer. Only got a machine asking to leave a message. No name of the company or nothing. In 5 min exact, they called back. Guy was asking me why it haven't returned the questioner yet. I asked about the website and why the number was not working, he then quickly xferd me to his Suppervisor again. All she said was, it was too late in the day to answer my concerns and will call me back tomorrow.

Got one call from this company today, no message left.  I returned the call, and spoke to a representative from FMA Alliance Collections, who was polite and he told me who he was looking for.  Wrong number.  He apologized and said he would remove my number.  We'll see.

I got a call from 281-975-2621 I did not answer they left no message. So I used Google to find out who called me from Texas this is what I found it is a land line phone listed as being to "GLOBAL CROSSING LOCAL SERVICES, INC.-TX"   could be a telemarketing firm with a bad person using their phone to scam people & they may not know it. All I can suggest is for maybe to look up "GLOBAL CROSSING LOCAL SERVICES, INC.-TX" & see if they are backed by the BBB if so file a complaint with them. I don't know if reporting them to any law enforcement would do any good, but starting somewhere is better than just letting it go.

I have been getting calls from 305-906-3951 the guy says i owe money to a internet cash advance service. And my lawer needs to contact him asap and if i dont get ahold of him i will be arrested and he wishes me luck in the future. He has changed his name now three times and now he has started calling my work. Im filing a complaint in the morning with the virginia police dept. This is getting rediculas. The guy is oriental sounding.

I got a call as well from an oriental sounding guy who said to give him a call back when I hire an attorney for a suppossed law suit that was filed against me. Didn't catch the name of the firm but I've read that their just extortionist trying to get people to pay them money so I don't pay them no mind. It's frustrating because they do have my personal information in which I didn't confirm. Kinda scary but there's not much to do about this. This is about the third time someone has called me with this nonsense, the first time I reported it to the FBI but they said as soon as they close someone down, another one just pops up with a different number. Just keep an eye out and watch what personal information you give out online.

i just got off the phone with the same dude with a Mid-Eastern accent, leaving threaten messages on my phone i called and talked to a Patrick....n he has ALL MY INFO....i mean EVERYTHING...i will be going straight to my police station and FILING a REPORT on their behinds...i DON'T OWE CASH ADVANCES a damn thing...i don't even give out my telephone number nevermind my ss#, account # and s**t...UGH these PEOPLE tried to STEAL from the WRONG ONE....

About 3:15 today I received a call from a Jason O'Connor, who sounded like someone from the Mid-East.  He told me that his client was suing me and that they wanted $10,000.00 dollars or I would be behind bars on Friday. I have reported this and even called him back to tell him he was busted and he said he did not care about that, and hung the phone up.  It is nothing more than an extortionist at work.

Called these people back, claimed they are attourneys. The have all my info. Don't owe them or anyone a dime and they say they are sueing me. Guess what, I have a great lawyer, so my comment to them was, see you in court. Threaten me will you. I am filing an internet fraud complaint and forewarding my lawyer thier info. Also going to see about pressing charges against them. If I owed, I would pay, I owe noone and am in good standings with all my creditors. Borrow from Advance America, hah.

This guy is calling me with the same history of the cash advances. saying that i owen money to them. i want them to stop calling me.

I am getting calls both at work and on my cell from the same man with an Indian accent.  Same threats of arrest and lawsuits, etc.  They have called 17 times in the last hour.  This is getting ridiculous.

I received calls from the 281-975-2535 from the same indian accent that could not speak english well and also a number the phone company said is being bounced off google which is 321-766-7128 saying the same thing about owing money to Cash America and he was in the legal division and they were going to arrest me right away unless we resolve this money owed. I never have made any transactions with Cash America. He had my name, address, phone numbers and insisted that i new about this money owed. He wanted me to fax him a letter that i will promise to pay with my credit card number and to sign it to the attention of Joathon Mightm at fax number 206-666-2207 . He put me on hold saying he was calling the sheriff right now and he was going to see what he could do to help me resolve this issue. BEWARE...this is a fraud, i made a report with the local police and the phone company verified that the FBI is aware of this scam.

I got a call from man who does'nt speak englis properly and that he is calling from the American Legal Attorney office that there is a lawsuit file against me from cashadvance and that there will be an sheriff will be showing up at my door the next day to arrest me.

Got a call from an oriental sounding guy who told me to contact him or have my atty contact him. He said he is from the legal dept, however did not mention a company name. The number came oer as 7700004 on my caller ID so I didn't answer. At the end of the very threatening message he told me if "if you choose to ignore this call, then I wish you a good life." Very strange. I called back and was immediatley sent to a voicemail and when I tried to "0" out a get an operator I was told by a recording that the number is not in service.

FAKE DEBT COLLECTORS

Report them to the FBI, Local Police, ect. IMMEDIATELY.   These are blatant scam artists who use threats to intimidate people into giving them money.  They call themselves by different names but most commonly go by "American Legal Services" which if you look up on google you will see that the real ALS has a warning on their website that states:

"SCAM ALERT

There is currently an offshore scam. These scammers claim to be from American Legal Services. They call people telling them that they must send money today or they will be arrested tomorrow. If you are called by these people, do not give them credit card or any other numbers.
Get the address they want you to send the money to, then call your local F.B.I. and report them immediately."

This person keep call me tell me he is attorney which everytime i ask him what  is his law firm name he hangs up the phone. if he was a real attorney then he shouln't mine tell me his law firm name. then that when i said  i  will look  this number up when i did i found out that the number he used  is a bougus number that he calling me from. so people beware of this number here,281-975-2535.

An oriental sounding guy called me from 281-975-2535 and said he was from a law firm ( didn't catch the name because I could barely understand him) and that I had a lawsuit filed against me which is complete bs. He asked me to give him a call back when I hire an attorney but I've read that they're just extortionist that get peoples information from an unknown database ( watch what personal information you give out online). They usually get information from people who just filed for a payday loan or something similar. After they get your information, they call you to confirm your info which sounds pretty legit but it's not. They're just trying to have you pay them money, DON'T FALL FOR IT! IT'S A SCAM!
