I received a text message from this number inquiring about my final selling price for a car at 5am. Looked up the number on google to find others posting that the number is associated with a scam artist.

Lady goes by name of Stephanie Litchfields. She responded to kijiji ad on car for sale in a smaller town. She offered more than what I had asked without even looking at the car which seemed exciting at first. She said that her shipping agent will get back to me. The shipping company got back to me within half an hour, which was fishy considering it was a Sunday night. Becoming suspicious, I googled the company name "1st Divine International Limited" and found nothing online for them. I then googled her name and found that she's been trying to buy cars this way all across North America for more than a year.
It's odd that I'm in a small remote town, nobody from a larger city would bother ship a car from here to where they are, and the town is small enough so that I'm 10 minutes driving from everybody.
I told her if I don't get my money in my account, I'll call it off. Not surprisingly, she didn't send the money. Apparently she tries to get you to ship stuff for free and saying that the money is coming but never does. I didn't play it out till the end, but if you get a text from this number or email from a lady by that name, stay away!
