there is no such area code as 655, it is more likely a fraudulent phone number, it came up on my phone showing it origination from singapore.

I keep getting calls and hangups from this number.  I want them to stop calling.  Who do I contact to have this stopped.

I reported this call to Verizon Wireless.  They tell me they are aware of people getting many calls a day from 655-742-58913.  They told me many people are reporting this problem.  Nobody knows where the calls are coming from.  I tried blocking the call and that option does not work.  When calls come from this number, my phone rings once and stops.

Exact same experience as AcidRain 64 above. Diabetes and cane stuff.  Second time today.  Have caller ID everywhere so won't answer again. Oh yes there were too many numbers the last five being 58913.

Have they called back since this?

I get the same calls as the others who have posted here; at least two a day.  They hang up before the completion of the first ring.  There's no way to answer it in time to give the caller my personal wrath.  My cell phone provider can't block the call because there's an extra digit.  

Try assigning the "no ring" ring tone to this number.  At least you won't hear the call, only the prompt that says you missed a call.  Still frustrating but less so.

This number keeps calling my cell phone, but the calls end before I can even reach for my phone. The phone voice identification doesn't even get past "Call from..." .I figured it was because there were too many numbers in the phone number, like it was bogus or something.

Frequent calls from this number and after reading these comments I will just ignore but I wish they would stop calling as it is irritating and (when I am driving) dangerous....

This same number calls me every f********* half hour, annoying as hell. how can u get them to stop?

I keep getting calls from that number allll day. I answer and nothing... no one talks no sound. Its really pissing me off! I even tryed calling it back and nope.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one getting calls from this number 165574258913. But it has been driving me crazy.

65574258913 called once, I ignored after finding this thread. Called again a couple hours later, I answered. Indian accent, mentioned American Diabetes Association.. didn't hear clearly whether they claimed to be them, or someone else, but the association was mentioned. They asked several questions (they said I was reported as having diabetes or walking with a cane?), all of which I answered in the negative. Seemed like they had the wrong person. Interestingly, the gentleman apologized saying "Alright, sorry to bother you.." only after a few of the questions, picking up on my subtlely frustrated tone.. hmm, makes me wonder if they were genuinely mistaken, because they definitely didn't try hard to keep me on the line, in fact they ended the conversation before I did. Oh well, hope they don't keep bothering me. I'd be curious to see how things play out for others, try answering the call and see what happens.

Ring and hangup - always suspicious of these types of calls.
