Same scam - delay, then spammer says he's from the Police and the call is being recorded.  I never bought a record even when The Police was popular...

I have received two calls from this number. No messages left.

I am listed on a DO NOT CALL list and still get calls from companies like these. I am a retired firefighter and do not recommend anyone fall for these scammers. I tell them so when I answer and they hang up on me but eventually call back.

SCAM.  Police and Fire do not solicit over the phone.

Called, didn't recognize caller so I didn't answer.   I'd said eureka, ca

This is indeed a Paid Solicitor for some type of Police "Association."  He works out of Eureka, CA.  Just say NO and hang up.

DO I AS I DO PEOPLE AND THEY WILL NOT CALL AGAIN ... I WAIT FOR A LIVE PERSON AND THEN SAY ... " IF YOU CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOUR FAMILY IN FRONT OF YOU. "  ... THEN HANG UP ...THEY NEVER CALL AGAIN ... IT WORKS EVERY TIME BECAUSE NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN FAMILY.

Exactly, these people are giving a bad name to the good people who are trying to protect the population of San Francisco. These telemarketers should be stop and sent to jail.

This family of butt munches are ignorant; lack knowledge to sell squat.  Perfect for the elderly to scam off of.  When will the FCC nail all these butt wipes thru a wire tap, or records and get them all in cockroach hotels.  I have about 10 of these butt munches that call.  The local police can't do anything even thou it is not legal, just hard to locate them......  I say BS, you get these idiots and make their eyes water!!!

They called today... They were asking for donations for some police stuff.  They said the conversation was being recorded.  I told them to record this, "#!%& @#!"... and they hung up.

Spam squared.  Called again today.

Got a robo-call that took few seconds to connect to a real person (after I made the mistake of answering a number I didn't recognize!)

Male told me he was with the Fraternal Order of the Police and that this call was being recorded. Then tried to hit me up for money. Told him we didn't give to anyone via phone solicitations -- he kept going with his schpiel and ignored me. I hung up.

If you get a call from this # - don't answer it -- or else blacklist it and block it altogether.

Spam.  Call and hang up.

My phone was ringing, I let it twice and answered to make sure to retrieve the number. No answer, I hung up.

Is there anybody here who knows this number?

This party called, left no message. Using my Digitone Call Blocker now ? they'll never reach me by phone. Trying to empty your bank account into his. Don't fall for it. If they need to reach me legitimately, he'll write me. Rat-b*****ds.

Calling on my landline.  Didn't answer, they hung up before they got to my answering message.  Total cockroaches trying to take advantage of the situation in Boston.

This is a pushy solicitor seeking funds for police assistance. He?ll get active whenever public opinion is pro-police as it is today with the capture of the Boston Marathon Bombers. Ever wonder what his percentage of your contributions amount are?

Answered the call. No answer and then they hung up.

Commercial fundraiser robocall asking for donations to California Police in San Francisco Bay area.  Commercial fundraiser in CA generally keep 95% of donated funds, only 5% goes to the charity.  Another red flag is the name being too generic.   Don't worry, "the police" won't come knocking if you do not donate.
