Got a call on my cell in Vancouver, no message. Somebody is trying to get a scam happening, do not answer this number or answer any questions. Smells pretty bad.

phones almost everyday at noon....then hangs up ...

Few calls in few weeks, no messages.

Picked up, after a bit of a delay a recorded message came on saying "This is Expedia Canada calling to say that you've been awarded $2,000 travel dollars ..." at which I point I hung up.

this scam has been dialing numbers for 8 months, and still going. There doesn't seem to be anything anyone can do to stop them. Most know its a scam, but I wonder if any have given their personal info to them. I really want to play dumb and go along with it and waste the morons time giving them bogus info and at the end laughing at them and hanging up, but then I thought they might put my number on some list that receives many more calls. I think if we all did that and wasted their time, they would get so sick of recording all this useless info they would have to find a new way to steal money.

I emailed Westjet so was expecting to hear back from them. When I answered this call a female identified it as Westjet and to press "1" for travel points. I pressed "1" but nothing happened. I'm a Koodo customer. As an afterthought, I received an email back from Westjet about someone else's account and wonder if my email has been compromised.

I prefer to remain annonomous.  I do NOT like telemarketers phoning my cell.

The same annoying "You've won xxxx airmiles. Press 1...". They always call line 3 here at work in the evenings. So this time I pressed 1 and got this guy who asked me if I am 25 or over and had a credit card. I said yes to both. Then I went on hold for a second and a second guy came on, so I shared some of my innermost feelings with this fella then slammed the phone down in his ear. They probably laugh at this, but it made me feel better.

From now on I am going to tie up their people for 5 to 15 minutes. They only call once every week or so. SO that's 5 minutes out of my week. The more people that do this the better.

Pretending you're really old and hard of hearing or just retarded makes the call much more fun.

Just got a call and when picked up the phone, no answer

picked up, automated message "hello you have been selected by westjet to recieve 2000 travel points, press 1 to accept" i pressed 1 and I was forwarded where someone picked up and i hung up.

Recieved on my government office phone.
Supposedly won WestJet airmiles points, recorded voice, hung up.

Just got a call from this number on my cell telling me I had been chosen to win 2000 WestJet points.  Another number on my blocked callers list, hooray!

Just got a call from this # on my cell phone. They tell you to press 1 to collect air miles with WestJet. I work for WestJet so I know this a an absolute scam. I pressed 1 to see what they ask for. Someone comes on the phone and asks if you are over 18yrs and if you have a major credit card. I said yes. They put you on hold and someone else comes on. He started talking about what I was going to win but then must have overheard the WestJet Boarding announcement in the background...he hung up.

Rec'd call.  The Air Miles scam is running from tons of different numbers.  In my experience the last 2 digits of the number they call from is a repetition of the previous 2 digits.  For example we have "23" repeated here.

This # calls everyday! I never answer, they never leave a message.

Received a call from 7808592323 , said i had won $2000 travel dollars from expedia , and said press 1 to accept , i pressed 1 and was transfered and they asked who they were speaking with, i answered "if i won something you should already know " then the guy proceeded to call me a f**king retard and hang up the phone on me, its a scam

I just got a call from this number, thank god my cell was on silence mode but they didn't leave a message...glad i checked here to see what was going on

I saw this number on my cell phone, recent call list.  I do not recognize it.

Got a missed call and no voice msg from this number today (Aug 27). Funny thing it was on my TextPlus number (android ap) not my real cell number.

Did not pick up.  Mssg left was unintelligible.

Just got a call.  phone rang and before I could even look at you was calling me the call was ending.

Weird... why call someone and hang up after 1 ring...

Got a call from this number on my cell on Vancouver Island ... no message left. good thing!  Cause I would have hung up on them!

They just called me stating "as a valued telus mobility customer you have won a prize" so i pushed the button and got this guy asking my age.. i then asked "is this telus" .no answer so i hung up.

Just call a call from them - "you have been chosen by Expedia Canada to win 2,000 travel dollars," blah, blah, blah.  I just hung up.

Received this call today on my cell but would not leave a message.  When I called back, it said the number was out of service....funny
