The trouble with companies like Charter is that if you are a customer, they have every right to call you eight times a day and harass you to sign up for more services.  I hate these people so much.  Their internet is mediocre, but I will never pay for television and have no home phone and don't plan to get one.  Pox on Charter....

I recived a call from this number. The woman wanted us to add other services, gave us a price then right before completing she changed the finall price twice! which made the tolal almost 3 times the amount we pay now. I said we cant afford that much and we'll just keep what we have. She became very upset and said, "her manager said you'll be disconnected on the 23rd! I was in shock! like WHAT! Ive never been late on my bill, even paid in advance. Sure enough though, I called Charter and they have a new disconnect order for us!!! It's being investigated right now. So I am blocking that 888 number and never speaking to anyone like that again unless I call into a company myself.

It is Charter Communications calling. I have Internet service through Charter and they call often to see if I want additional services. I lie to them each time to see how good their rebuttals are. Anyways, you can be palced on the "DO NOT CALL" list simply by asking. It takes 20 days to be activated on the list, but it is worth it. A good excuse to use is that you travel for your job and only ned internet service when you are actually at home. That enver fails. LOL!

I have Charter internet only. I was getting called 1-2x a day from 800-963-8490. I went on Charter online account and set all my preferences to "leave me alone". About the same time one of their callers got through to me at almost 9 pm one night. (I don't have record of the number. Funny how they're so protective of that. I guess they don't want to be called in the middle of the night.) He seemed underwhelmed by my lack of enthusiasm for their service and complete lack of desire for any new services and quickly ended the call. The calls stopped for several weeks and now seem to be starting again, from 800-963-8491. I just added the number to my "Names" list and ignore the calls like all the rest.

I used to have service with them.  I've moved and now have AT&T U-verse.  I'm also on a Do Not Call list.  If they continue to call me, I will report them to the Consumer Affairs Office of my state's Attorney General's office.

Please only call regarding bills do not want sales calls

This number 888-963-8491 keeps calling my cell phone every single day, sometimes several times a day.  I looked it up on the "reverse phone number" site and it is Charter.  They don't leave a message, and I won't return their call unless they leave a message.  I also won't ever answer a phone call from a number that starts with the area code of 8.  How do I make them stop calling?

They have called me over 32 times since jan 18th!!! When I answered to tell them to stop calling, no one was there. Beyond ridiculous!!!!

I've been getting calls from this phone number for a fe weeks or so now. No one's there if I answer. If I don't pick up, they leave me a blank voicemail. Getting really annoyed and want to make it stop!

everyday there is a call from this number, it is annoying!

For those with caller ID when a toll free number calls you.. or any solicitor answer your phone by saying you are a company: ie: "Thank you for calling 'your company', how can I help you today?" ..they hang up and the calls get less and less. I still recieve the annoying calls but only 1 or 2 instead of 1-2 times an hour. I had one apologize for calling my business and promised to remove my number from their list. Haven't seen them call back since.. although, could be them under a different number.. sneeky boogers!  We can't get away from them.. they need to feed their families as well, but we can make it more interesting on our end as well. No sense in getting annoyed and mad at these people. Have fun with them! :D

I typically don't pick up my phone with the numbers I don't know and just ignore them. But I do google where the number is coming from and turns out that it is Charter Communications. They have been calling me every single day and I have not even answered the phone. I think by now they should understand that by not answering my phone everyday they should not waste any more time to call me.

Needless to say I've answered the calls trying to get it go stop and even then I still get a call 2-3 times a day and at least 2 times over the weekend. When I answered I explained to them I'm currently serving in the military and while I'm not at home I've kept their s*** company because I have others living in the house for me. They just said oh okay well we will put your number on a do not call list and boom the next day low and behold they called again. Honestly I just hit ignore now its just become a habbit.

Instead of calling me once a day... I mean if anythingg... that would make want NONE OF YOUR SERVICES.
