After answering the phone with a normal "hello", a lady immediately asked to speak to the owner of the business.  I simply told her this was not a business but rather a residence.  She hung up.  Is this a scam artist?

Got a call from 986-798-8769. Lady asked to speak to the owner. I hung up as I've gotten this call many times before.

They call and just hang up!

These people call all the time and just hang up.  Tried to be put on the do not call list, but never happens.

I also got calls from this number two days in a row.  It hangs up when I answer it.

Received this call today, and before I answered they hung up. I tried to call back and the recording said that I could not reach the party as dialed.

Have received several calls from this number and have advised them many times to not call back. Evidently, they are disregarding my requests.

Called and no one said anything. I hung up. This is the second time today!
