same here. Ever since today (13th of Feb) and I am in Aus too. I tried to open mine but it wouldn't.

got the same message...wont download...tried to contact number...dissallowed...telstra were NO help

I received one recently as well.  same problem, it shows that it's not valid content

i just got the mms from +176671009 it wont open and says(no subject) is this a joke ?

I received it this morning. Icon on my phone makes it look like a MMS. I've just landed in Aus and thought that once I'd configured the phone from the Telstra website it would work. I cancelled it in the end. After a quick google on the number I'm glad I did..!! Sounds well dodgy to me.

i received this weird messege today (April 18 2008) it said waiting to download but when i opened it it said unable to download. i think if u see this messege on ur phone just delete it straight away.

I got several of the same, did a check and the origin is Russian from what I can make out

I've been receiving these corrupted MMS messages since 21 Dec 07. My guess is it is either advertising or someone exploring hacking of mobiles perhaps. Haven't tried to open it. Sign of things to come.
PS I'm in Australia.

got text a message from this number that says "im wet and ho**y" and this was to my friends 12 year old daughter but wasnt a mms just a text

I got this message.  But then a few hours later my phone was trying to access the phone network.  (I live out of mobile range, so had my phone connection turned off.)

I think it is a virus, and was trying to send info from my phone "back home".  Very concerning.

I did a hard reset on my phone/palm and told Telstra Australia.  They put a block on my phone.  Hopefully this will stop it.

yeah i got one too....there were like hundreds of these pics and i have no idea why they were sent to me and who did it?!

seems to be a Telstra welcome message. It happens basically every time you change handsets and a few other scenarios.

I got an MMS about 2 days ago, and have spent the last two days trying to download it!  Thought I might google the number and see what came up - Hmmm, so XBleedingX has an MMS from the same number!  I thought it might have been a friend who arrived in Cananda about 2 days ago, but sure they don't have MMS.  Anyway, my phone refuses to let me download it.
