Called at almost 2100 Central Time. No voicemail. Called back. Belongs to the National Republican Congressional Committee. Automated message answered, as well.

You can give them your credit card number when they ask for it if you want but not recommended. If you accidently say "I will send in a contribution" then they will keep calling you to ask "Have you sent it yet?". Interesting? They actually think people are going to give them their credit card number, expiration date and security code. Amazing. Their pay will also come out of any contribution you make if it even goes that far.

Karen is likely correct. The GOP looking for money because they cannot spend their own. Change their name some times to "A Group of Conservatives" if you tell them to stop calling.

All I got was a beep when I answered. I reported it to do not call website.

Just received a call.  When I answered, all I got was a beep so I beeped back from my phone.  Too bad for these stupid pple with sad a** jobs - I no longer donate to anyone who solicits over the phone because of pple like this.  I barely even ever pick up my phone.

I just received a call from this number; and declined. A few mins later, I called it back... No ringing - just a blank open line sound. It's terrible about these types of calls, phones for many are used for important calls, and this only complicates one's business.

Have received many calls from this number, have not picked because they are just blasting my phone every day. I believe it is the RNC because I have picked up for two of those, different area code, anyway I believe RNC is ratcheting up their fundraising for the midterms and beyond. This is fine by me but I don't appreciate my cell being hammered like that, very pesky, so I'm just getting another phone. Will still be voting R though. :-)

I keep getting calls from this number.  He will not leave a message or a phone number where he can be reached.  Said his name is Jeff Daniel.

IDGAF if they call home numbers, but I when I POLITELY asked that they not call my company the guy on the other end lost his mind.

Call came at 8:40 a.m. on Jan.15.  Unknown caller on caller ID.  I am listed on the Do Not Call list.  Would greatly appreciate it if callers would abide by the list and honor our request not to call!!!!!!

Got this call at work. Unfortunately, it is the one place I have to pickup no matter where the call may be coming from. Getting a lot of "automated" callers these days. Anywho.. he stated his name & asked specifically for the president of the company by name. I stated he was not in & then they asked if I was his spouse to which I replied, "No." I was then asked when I could expect him back & something wasn't right. It seemed as though they were recording my responses. I asked if I was speaking to a real person on the other end & a pause.. a slight giggle & "Do I sound that bad." Okay, maybe you are a "real" person. No.. not at all. When asked again when I would expect him I replied with, "In the morning." Automan couldn't comprehend what that meant. Apparently he needed a numbered time. Who do these people think they are fooling?? Called back after to request do not call & of course there is no real person answering there line either. It directs you to the website. I am tired of not talking to real people...

This caller is leaving messages daily for my 85-year old mother, calling her by her first name and asking "_____, are you there?  Pick up the phone if you are there _____."  It is upsetting to her and he is beginning to make her feel threatened.  I don't care if this is a solicitor or a political call, it is inappropriate and will be reported to as many agencies as I can possibly find.

Weehawken-- get lost...8 am is tooo early to call anyone.  I am on the do not call list.   have kept track and have received 19 calls since june 1st. that are from people like you.  I have kept the phone numbers and am going to report you all.  get a life-- quit calling...

Do you not realize that you need to register every 6 mos? And do really think the govt can manage the do not call registry? If so you are deluded...it's such a joke

It was the Republican Coalition.  Political organizations are exempt from the Do Not Call Registry, so they can pester you as much as they want.  The Repubs call me every freakin day.  The Dems call me every weekend.

Continue to get calls from 201 537-5943.  They do not leave a number.  On the 'DO NOT CALL LIST' but that seems to work as well as the federal government NOT SPENDING FOOLISHLY!

How can we stop all these unwanted calls? It is very annoying. Whoever they are, they should be arrested for invasion of privacy.

I called the number back and discovered it's Republican Party wanting to regain the White House and both House and Senate.  You supposedly get a choice to ask questions, leave a message or have your number removed from the data base.

Well, since it's actually a collections call and not a telemarketer, it doesn't "break" the do not call list.  Since the call is not for me, I don't get any further than finding out that it's a collections call.

Why would I answer a call from Weehawken, New Jersey?  It must be a weird place with weird people who think I would answer a call from a number I don't know in WEEHAWKEN, New Jersey.  Stop wasting my time and yours. Please don't call me again.  I will not answer.  I am on the Do Not Call List.  Does that matter?

What has happened to the telephone service we used to know?  I don't answer half the calls that come to my land line phone because I don't know anyone in New Jersey or New York or Washington D.C. or Florida or California, etc. that I have any business with.  The other calls I do answer are from numbers I do know and would like to talk to.  What would I do without Caller ID?  I am sorry that I have to screen all calls coming to my phone?and even to my cell phone.  What is the point of all these calls?do they do any good for anybody?????
