DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!!!!! I was told by Easy Loans that I would receive a grant of $6,700, and to call to Mr. Shaun Russell to receive the check by mail by confirming my approval number at 202-657-4787. The official address was 200 Independence Avenue, Washington DC 20201. That number line was busy, and I stop calling afterwards. Don't give any information about yourself to anything unfamiliar, don't give out money to get money, and again, DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!!!!! Oh, and here's their number, 202-738-6954

So I kept receiving calls from a +91621 number and when I finally picked up they told me I was chosen to receive a $6700 grant, Because I have no warrants and was never convicted of a felony or  blah blah blah.. So I was like hmm. Lets see where this goes, I asked questions they asked if I wanted it in a check for or directly deposited, I said check because I'm not gunna give my bank info out. So he told me to call this mark Houston person I called and he answered told me all the info that was told to all of you.. And I kept asking questions sometimes the same question over and over and he sounded irritated.. He told me to purchase a green dot card and load $290 call him back and wait for the grant money to be deposited to my account and I was like oh ok.. Ill do it.. I hung up googled his name and "us department of federal grant" ( which is clearly wrong because he CLEARLY WASN'T  IN THE US. ) And found a bunch of info on him and this scam. I hope they stop this ASAP.

People, be aware! This is a scam. I was told that I was eligible to receive $6,700 from Federal Grants. I got a very important confirmation number and this 201 688-7114 number to call Mark Houston. Before I called, I googled the number. When I did call no one answered. Don't have any other details, but don't send them any of your money.

got a phone call from 222-223-3333  said i recieved a grant for 6,700 for being good citizen then given confirmation no.a266 then told to call mark houston at 201 6888-714  no answer  but sure it is scam they should be put in jail!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw all these posts so when I called that guy I let him have it!  I told him that we all knew about their scam and it was ALL OVER the internet!  I went off on him about stealing peoples money.  Maybe now they will be too paranoid to continue!

Ps. Also brothers and sisters overstand forigners are not just aiming at white america, they are aiming at all americans! Look at 911 and them boston brothers. Today is the worst day of my life. The same scammers crushed my world. I've tooken out a loan on my mint condition cadillac and sent them my last dime to my name thinking my citizen grant would be in my account in 10 min like mark, francis, and jacob said it would be. My kids were hungry and I told them soon as the money come we were gonna eat. Okay so first i got a call from 207 and theres a woman talking with an accent that i can not understand all that clearly and so she tells me i was one out of 200 people selected to get 6,700$ and asked me if i knew why i was selected and i said no so she said something i cant understand and then asked for my information which she would finish my sentence for me like she had my info somewhere and then gave me her name Annie Parker and told me to call somebody named Mark Houston and tell him my approval number which is A266 and i had to call him after 5 mins . So i did , and he answers with his name Mark Houston and i say i need to give my approval number and he had my name and everything then asked me if i knew why i was selected and it was cause i have no criminal records , do my taxes on time , and all this other stuff . First , i dont do taxes im only 16 ? Which makes no sense . Then he says i need to go to Western Union and deposit 290$ and then after i will get paid my money and get my 290$ back . Thank god i searches him up before i paid anything . This all sounded too good to be true .

I got a call telling me to call this number. Got a busy number. Look it up. And so glad that I did. No scam for me.

I received a call from Mr. Luis and he told me, my name got selected for grand benefit $6500 as I am on time tax payer. He gave me a code and told me to call Mr Mark Houston (his manager) on 201-688-7114 to verify this code and get this reward by mail.

this people called me saying they were from the U.S Goverment the department of treasury and that i was selected for a goverment grant for $6700 and the only thing i need to do is pay the taxes for that amount, they called me from a 91621 number and the person told me to call Mr mark houston he was my case manager and the person who was going to send me my money, i didnt do anything but im worried of how this ppl are ripping others and taking their money, please be advise that this is too good to be true . dont fall for this. its a huge SCAM!!!!!

They same thing was done to me.. asked me if i wanted it in bank account or a check.. so i said check.. then he said that i would have to pay 385 to insure it was going to the right identity and that i would get it back with my 6,700 grant

I was told I vefrify my name and address which he did, and gave me an approval # F947, I was given this number  201-688-7114 and was told to call and ask for Mark Huston. Sounds like another.....................SCAM!!!

These people really need to be placed in jail. I should have known better that you do not have send money Western union to get a loan. i am out of 1,000. Jarred black told me I would have pay $350 just to get my money back. What a scam? I wonder why the good ole USA has not arrested these thugs or at least shut them down.

Well I pretty much got the same story just a different #. They first call from a long crazy #. Then they tell you that you have been selected to receive $6700 in Grant $$ that you don't have to pay back. Then give you another # to call but they say you have to send $180 to receive your direct deposit in an hour or within 24 he's if you want the check mailed to you.

This scamming SOB called stating that am eligable for $6,700 for being a good citizen. Because I Pay my taxes on time and I have never gone bankrupt, I knew if he had checked my financial he would have found something entirely different. I am a good cituzen and I do pay my taxes on time but like many I have had some difficulty. He told me to send him $150.00 to receive $6,700.00 plus reinburst the money I sent him. This is too good to be true and it is not.

so, why did I just receive a call from this guy and told me I was approved for a grant and I would never have to pay it back for $6,700. I new it was a scam, I have been getting so many of these calls, I told them to send me my check and one even told me a won a 2012 mercedes benz. All I said was send me my money and my car. lol. Dont believe them it is a scam.

Lmao... So I got a call from this guy saying I applied for a loan online. NOT TRUE! Said that he was from Consumer Finance or something. He said I was approved for 5000 dollars. He asked what I needed so I played along and said 3. I asked what are there terms and conditions and how do I receive the money? He told me I needed to talk with his "senior finance manager", whose name is Mark Houston. He gave me the number to call 2016887114. I called and it rang three times and got a busy signal. Then he called back and asked for Mickey. WHAT!? That's not my name. So, already knowing it some bs in the game, I said that was my name. He said I wanted a 3000 dollar loan and my payments would be 310 a month for 10 months but first I have make a refundable "good faith payment" through western union. He said I would get it back within 20 minutes after making the first payment. I am so not going lol what a joke.
