This number is a NJ claiming to be Enterprise Recovery System with phone number of 877-830-7646. I am reporting them as they are harassing me daily with numerous calls. They refuse to answer questions and want you to verify information about yourself but will not answer any questions unless pressed.

Called my wife trying to charge a debt under MY name from 10yrs ago saying that it belonged to her
dan 2013-09-04 00:54:16 Unknown
They call my non-Verizon home # and not my non-Verizon cell #.
Thanks for the warning.
This is a good reason to keep your business and personal life separate with one number for friends and family and amother for businesses, banks, etc.
If someone is calling to communicate something they can leave a message but if they are calling to get you to buy something, give out personal information, or promise to send them money then either they will either keep calling without leaving a message or will leave a message that you should call them without giving you a good reason (one good to you) for calling them.
If it cost even 5 to 10 cents every time they called then they wouldn't do this, but as long as calling costs little or nothing, then companies and creeps will use the phone and email instead of mailing a letter

now when you call this number back they say that they are "total card" that represents many companies.
they are just telemarketers selling something else.

This is a Verizon wireless collection center. The "reference" number is the 10 digit cell number.

Under the new FTC regulations this type of call is now illeagle to do. You can direct all complaints to the FTC. www.ftc.gov.

This an automated call from Verizon to inform you of an outstanding balance on your bill. Press 1 to confirm it's you. Then there are several options. You can be forwarded directly to a payment center or you can confirm that you will be making payment that day or within the next seven days. After choosing an option you'll be told that your account info has been updated and that you should pay at least the minimum due to avoid additional late charges.

I've received this call today and the message asked to confirm my name by pressing #1. I did and I was disconnected. What is this?
Daletg 2011-10-19 21:25:46 Unknown
This is a fake message and probably someone getting the passwork to my voicemail. It caught me off guard and I put my pin # in when asked and it said it would direct me to a private message, this is bogus.
I changed my password as soon as I got home and will be monitoring my phone closely to see if anything changes over the next few days.
Don't put your password in when asked, it is bogus.

Yes, definitely Verizon Wireless calling about a past due balance. It does seem to take them awhile to catch up after you've made a payment. I just got a call from them even though I paid online a couple of days ago.

THIS IS VERIZON WIRELESS, WITH A NOTICE FOR PAST DUE BALANCES!! Even with my payments being made on time(early)!!! These people are crazy!!
Ditto 2011-04-01 17:39:13 Unknown
Same as above. Rang. Nobody on the line. I didn't bother calling it.
Christine 2011-02-12 18:28:33 Unknown
I've received this call a few times this week and when I called it back it appears to be a Verizon Wireless msg center. It doesn't give me the option to reach anyone, just an automated message asking for a reference number. No idea why I'm getting these calls and I obviously do not have a reference number. No one's ever left a message.
