They keep calling me, here are some numbers:
510-943-3040
817-510-7616
Call From: Mark Johnson
It's a noisy call center, they cannot speak good english, he cursed me out, gave one name & when answering service played it was another name-Rob Jones. Now, today, a call from another number. I feel like adding some type of block feature to my phone. He says he needs a callback from me or my attorney. What in the world?!?

I have been getting phone calls from this number 202 630-9254 and they are posing as a Law Firm and providing me my exact SSN#, Name and home Address and said I have taken 12 Pay Day Advances from some company and I am being sued by their Law Firm.
I called the number back and it is a Call Center some where in India and I verified it by talking to them in Hindi. I called a few time and each time a female answered the phone by just saying Hello. It sounded like someone is at their home answering phone.
If you ask them any specific question, then they hang up the phone.
These people are sitting in INDIA and harrasing people in the US. Please help stop this Harrasement.

Got a phone call from some law firm telling me that a lawsuit was against me through some payday loan place. They told me my place of work, SSN, email address and even the bank I deal with. Then went on to say that this matter will be settle in the courts. It sounds like a scam and indentity theft. I hope they call again and then it will be on. I don't play games like that with jack***s who go around and scam people for money or who are trying to ruin other peoples lives. These people need to learn how to speak proper english first of all and stop taking our hard working peoples job. Go back to your own country you F***** idiots.

No sure how they got our number - but it is just highly entertaining that some non-native speaking individuals with the name of "Jack Stack" (which I thought was funny when I asked him to spell it). I also asked for a physical mailing address, they gave me a bogus address for someplace in New York. Silly scammers - they need to know what area code is listed with what area.
Is a scam - I have reported them to my local sheriff and also the FCC and FTC.
Have a little fun at their expense and talk really fast - and excited and you can tell that they start to get hooked by your responses.

This may be an extortion scam. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends. In your case, they may be calling randomly.
The FBI warns about payday loan extortion scams here http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/paydayloanscam_120710
The BBB has issued several alerts on this scam, just google "bbb.org alert phony debt collector"
Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.
