Received a phone call from this number Sunday afternoon June 1st. I was not here, but person taking the call offered to take a message, and was told "No message. Will call again." I retrieved  the number from my phone record, called it, and found it was from Medic Alert. This was a DIFFERENT number from the one usually used by them. I am  a member of Medic Alert and for the past few weeks, I have been receiving calls from them from a "205" number...wanting money...the calls have  come at all times of the day and as late as 8:30 at night. Medic Alert  WAS  helpful to me on one visit to an ER, so I sent them money above and beyond  my membership dues, out of gratitude, and thinking the donation would stop the calls. But it has not. I STILL get calls from the 205 code. Getting calls from them at nights and now on a Sunday afternoon is just a thin line away from harassment.

Have received several calls from this number. Phoned back - received a recording that the call I had received was from Medic Alert and they were soliciting a donation. I am a Medic Alert member, but they phone constantly from this number and from a number in Turlock, CA requesting additional donations.

If this was Medic Alert calling, I am a member.  They would not have gotten any money out of me right now, so it was a wasted call on their part.  If they call again and do not leave a msg I will be supremely pissed.

Medic Alert will not call out of D.C.  And....they do not call for donations. All requests for donations come with renewal notices and other official stuff they send via snail mail.  I have been a member for over 20 years and they have never called me.  When I contacted them through their official phone number, they said that the number out of D.C. is most definitely a scam.

I received a call on my cell from 202-650-5172 which I didn't answer. I called it back and it was Medic Alert calling me to ask for a donation. I am a member but I don't want calls of this nature so I added it to my blocked list.

I've been receiving calls from this phone # 202-650-5172 day and nite from DC, USA. Reading from another person complaint..I don't have verizon plan! Doesn't leave a message, but keeps calling....get a life people......

Blocking immediately---2nd time calling and leaving no message.

The call is from Verizon Wireless.  I don't know what they're calling for, but I assume trying to make me upgrade my calling plan.

Received call today at 1817 hours.  Did not have the decency to leave a message.  I am adding it to my call blocking.
