Given what I experienced and what I've read here, I surmise this to be a company that does robo-calls for hire.  Although, I'm not sure if they have sales reps in-house or they simply transfer the call to _their_ customer when you answer.

In any event, I just received a call (twice, I answered the second time).  CID said "TELETOWN HALL" and it was a robocall (claiming to be) from my US Congressional Rep with a "live town hall meeting" that I could stay on-line to join.

I have no reason to doubt it but still I can't completely attest to the veracity of the claim since my wireless phone glitched and hung up before I was connected.

I have *NEVER* Subscribed to the Washington Post and *I'm* getting calls from "TELETOWN HALL" at 202-800-5659.  Doesn't sound legit AT ALL.  I'll bet they are SCAMMERS and are just trying to get your CREDIT CARD NUMBERS.

It's John Wolfe calling. He is running agains Obama in the democratic primary and wants your vote.

Got a phone call on Feb 3 Friday, 12:17pm a call from this number ! I never answer numbers I don't know.
Searched for the number on google, found it on youtube video (daddy playing wii with his daughter). Very weird

Washington Post customer service, calling to see if I wanted to re-subscribe.  They're persistent; they called once a day for 4 or 5 days before I finally had time to answer.  Tell them you don't want to re-subscribe and they'll stop calling.  They don't give you a hard time or keep trying to offer you subscriptions like other companies do.

Same here; Got a call 8:45am on a Saturday morning. Didn't answer since i did not recognize the number.

Also recieved a call around 6:15 and 8:30. I don't pick up if I don't recognized.  I also have verizon.

They been calling today...How can avoid all this collers?

Someone called my home phone from this phone number.
The caller id says Landmark Telese.

Appears that you don't have Caller ID.  We just got a call from this number and the ID said,  "Landmark Teleservices."   Google this and you find it is a pretty disreputable telemarketer.  If you have Verizon here in the USA, use their Call Block services.

I've also received multiple calls from this number on different nights around the same time in the evening. I'm not sure who it is? I just got on the internet to "Google" this phone number and came across your posting. It's so strange...and its annoying!

Received two calls from this number on successive nights at 8:45.  Seems spoofed, no clue who it is.  If I don't recognize it, I don't answer.
