I was called on my cel at approximately 12:15 PM today.

The following is completely conjecture and speculation:

I recently purchased a home via RyanHomes. They use a company called Guardian to do their technology work (including security systems). I gave them my cell number as the way to contact me. I opted to not have a security system in my consultation with them (which happened in the past 2 weeks). Since they are the only people I've dealt with in my entire life in regard to a security system, I think they may be related to the company making the calls or responsible for selling my phone number to this company.

Or it could be a complete coincidence.

Got a call on my cell phone and did not answer. The end of an automated message about car warranty was left in my voicemail.

Interesting I got a call from this same # saying the warrantly on my car has expried and press 1 to talk to an agent. 2 to remove from list.  man this company is into everything

I get calls at my office here in Canada from this number. It is a recording about how the 'factory warranty on my vehicle is about to expire', and I am offered the chance to extend it by pressing 1 and speaking with a service specialist.  The recording also offers the chance to be removed from the follow-up list by pressing 2, which I did. It thanked me and disconnected. Hopefully won't get anymore calls.

Also got a call from this number on my cell phone. Answered it and no one there and they hung up.

Got a call a few minutes ago, didn't answer

They called me twice & left no message.  How annoying.

They just called my cell phone 650 area code, Do Not know how they got that number. I googled the number and wound up here. As ME listed above I don't waste minutes on calls I do not know or not expecting.

I received a recorded political call from this number. The woman claimed to be a mother of four living in Alameda, CA. She wants to enact legislation banning same-sex couples from being able to marry.

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone as well. Didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.  This is to a San Francisco number.

in colorado on mobile just received an incoming call.  i did not pick up.

I just got a call from (203)608-5000 on my cellphone.  I did not answer as I usually don't accept calls without a caller-id.  They didn't leave a message.

i got this phone call about 11:36 and i find it odd, never seen a 203 number and how the hell did they get my number?
They are hackers lolz, i really dont know but its quite odd...

Jut called my 503 number, didn't answer.  S**t head voice spammers.

I have received repeated calls from this number on my cell phone. Even though it says "you have been placed on our DNC list", after pressing 3 and calling back in an attempt to stop, I am still getting calls

Received a called on my Skype number 4 minutes ago, left voice message.

called my at&t cell number with robo call offering a security system if I put a sign up.  Press 3 to be put on their DNC list.

Got a call a few minutes ago, didn't answer.

Got an unidentified call from that same number. Thought I check the web first before calling back - Landed on this page - Suggestions: Don't answer, nor call that number back - It will only validate that your number is a marketable number to pass on, sell, or call again... Cheers!

Got a missed call from this number they left no message. Called it back and a recorded message said the following:

"Hello, we apologize for the inconvenience. By calling this number you have been placed on our Do Not Call List. Thank you".

Looks like a coordinated calling campaign of some sort.

Call on my cell phone.  Telemarketer selling GE home alarm systems. I pressed one and spoke to rep who said the company was Protect America. I located Protect Americas web site, which offered a live chat session.  Chat operator was unsure if it was them or not (which says that they do cold call telemarketing) and asked if I was sure it wasn't ADT.

just received this call...checked online and got this site.  After reading i'm not sure y i was called as i am not in the market for a security system...I agree with a previous poster...don't call the number back b/c it verifies that your number is active and they will continue to call.
