They just call & hang up when you answer. it is getting old & needs to stop i am on the national do not call list but yet i still get these unwanted phone calls.

They called me today and asked about if I had ever had hip replacement surgery.  Uh...nope.  They spoke very poor English, though I couldn't figure out the accent.  Wouldn't let me speak to a manager.  No idea how she got my number.

This number actually called and left a messge for me by name, with my grandfather. has anyone else been called out by name?

The phone is ringing every 5 minutes from this number.  They don't say anything --just empty space...literally every 5 minutes for two hours!

I do not know who they are but every time they call, I will answer and then they hang up. I get a lot of calls like this. I hate them. Wish I knew a way that I can stop the calls.

Told  me  the  same  line  of  bull.  I  blocked  the  number. Still  shows  up  in  my  call  log  as a  missed  call.  Called me 3x  in ten minutes.

Called and tried to offer me compensation for medical malpractice related to blood clots. "Have you or anyone in your family suffered from blood clots?" GTFO. I suspect they're phishers.

I have received (4) calls today from this number 203-702-2851 thinking it is a local number and there is never anybody on the other side, just dead air. The calls start as early as 8am and the last call was at 630pm

I am so irritated by these people. I usually don't pick up when they call (which is every day), but in the past month I have answered about once a week and told them to remove my number. I let them know I spoke to my attorney about what to to, but obviously they are not at all impressed. They called earlier this week speaking Spanish. I have call screening, but for some reason, I am unable to add this number to my list, it won't take.

Call at least three times daily do not leave message would like it to stop!

This person has been calling me several times a day, have never heard his pitch, he calls and doesnt say anything and one time I called back he answered and I warned him if he ever called my house I would report it and made it clear I would contact the authorities.  He just called again today. If you live in the State of Connecticut, you can contact the Attorney Generals office and get the address to send in your complaint or you can download a complaint form. The Consumer Protection Dept number is 860-808-5400. The problem callers number is located in Danbury, Connecticut, which is Fairfield County. I hope this helps someone.

This guy named Carlos ... he was RUDE ... he lied and said he was going to lower my rate, although he did not know my current rate.  He was trying to slam me into a new supplier.  I am on the do not call list.  When I told him he was misleading, he hung up on me.

Wow.. a service to reduce power charges!!! Yet why do they keep calling when and if they answer their phone!!

I to get 100's of calls from the number 203-702-2851 named Danbury Ct. or IVR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will not leave a message nor will they speak when I pick up...I called back and let it ring and ring and ring for 8 minutes and finally someone picked up by the name of Carlos Martinex, he is from Public Power and if you ask him to speak to the supervisor they will take your name off the call list.. He says it takes 48 hours and at that time if they call you can call the better business bureau in your state.  good luck.

They keep calling here I usually don't answer because i didn't recognize the number. I answered today and he asked for the person that pays the electric bill. I told him that he had the wrong number because we have a new phone number and asked if it was a sales call. He said it was not a sales call. I said who are you looking for, I was looking for a name??? He said the person that pays the electric bill, i'm with public power and i'd like to talk about saving you some money. I said this is a sales call. He said no it's not and accused ME of not understanding him and said I didn't speak english!!! I don't speak anything except english!!!! I told him again this is a sales call please don't call again...he still insisted i didn't speak ENGLISH!!!! He said I can have someone speak spanish or itilain to you. I said oh my god you're an idiot and he hung up on me...wow nice!!!
Sure as hell seems like a sales call to me!!! They're probably hiring guys that are in prision somewhere to man their phones. He seemed stupider than a rock!!!

I have talked to this guy on the phone.  He says that he works for Public Power.  The website for this company is www.ppandu.com.  I would suggest going to their website and contacting the company with this guys phone number and let them know that he is persistently calling you and that you would like him to stop.  I don't know if it will work but it is worth a try

They call constantly. I have a child who is recovering from surgery and though I've explained this I get numerous calls a day. Can this be stopped?! They say they are going to lower my engery bill. I say, stop calling!

I have been getting a phone call twice a day for weeks no one is leaves a message and when you say hello no one answers they will stay on the line until the phone hangs up, what is up with that I will disconnect my phone if that keeps up this no call list is a waste!!!!

Calls a lot, never bothers to leave a message.  Nothing on this site about it yet, but I found info online from sites similar to this one that it's a scam artist who tries to sell you ways to save energy in your home.  If you try to talk, he keeps talking: very insistent!  They do not care if you're on the Do Not Call list (as we are) and will promise to stop calling if you ask them to, but call again and again anyway.  Obviously scammers.  Possibly spoofing the telephone number?

The Caller ID says "Danbury CT" on it.

I've taken to pushing the "talk" button, then immediately hitting the "off" button.  Maybe they'll think they're reaching a broken line or something?

I have received multiple calls, and finally was able to answer the other night.  Some guy started giving me a pitch about lowering my energy costs.  I told him I wasn't interested and to remove me from his calling list.  He said he would, but continued with his pitch.  I hung up.  A minute later, he called back and insisted on knowing why I wasn't interested!  I firmly (and a bit loudly) told him that I wasn't interested, that is all he needed to know, that he is calling me illegally since I am on the Do Not Call list, and to remove me from his records immediately.  Since then they have called back four times, none of which we were home for.  If we get them again, my wife will attempt to get some info on who they are, and I will be filing a complaint and a small claims harrassment suit (it is your right for repeated Do Not Call offenders) if necessary.
