I agree with what others have said above. I bought something from e4hats.com and after a while I got a random charge from "Merial Shoes".

They are "BBB Accredited", which I believe they do not deserve. A company that sells/uses customers' information should be shut down. Someone should report them to the BBB. Here is their page on the BBB site:

It seems that they charge credit cards where the owners live far away from CA (where their store is located).

Same experience - Merial Shoes, $11 charge appeared on my statement after a purchase from newegg.com. Advise everyone to never buy from them again. Disputing with bank now. The number I had on my statement was MERIAL SHOES 760-316-4622 NY.

We have had an almost identical experience, having ordered from e4hats in March.

I ALSO ORDERED FROM E4HATS.COM IN LATE APRIL AND THE "MERIAL SHOES" CHARGE FOR $12 APPEARED ON MY STATEMENT 6/3.  I HAVE DISPUTED IT WITH THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY. WHEN I CALLED THE NUMBER LISTED ON MY STATEMENT FOR MERIAL SHOES 203-989-0257 IT HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED

I previously wrote on Jun. 17th.  I purchased from e4hats also but in April(and charged in Apr.) and the separate $14.00 charge showed up in May.  I phoned Merial shoes at the above # and they did refund the $14.00 charge to my credit card account.  I was also able to obtain the address to this phone # in Connecticut and  contacted the Mayors office with the information and they notified the Connecticut Attorney Generals office. I have not heard back from the attorney general's office yet.   Also, the refund for the $14.00 came on my statement as 760-316-4622 NY however, the address to this phone # is in Wrightwood CA.  Try to figure that one out.  By the way you can get the address without paying for it by doing reverse phone # lookup and putting in the latitude and longitude coordinates.

I also have a charge for $12.00 on my bank statement from Merial Shoes with the phone number 760-316-4622 CA.  Don't have a clue who this is or what it's for.  I also ordered from e4hats.com previously.

i received a $10.00 charge on my debit card from Manificent shoes never heard or bought anything from them. when i call them it is a recording with a middle eastern accent and they never return my call this is definitely a scam they are stealing all of our debit and charge card #'s and they must be shut down

An unexplained $14.00 charge appeared on my VISA from 'Merial Shoes - 203-989-0257'.  Immediately e-mailed my bank to dispute.  Recent internet purchases around that date from e4hats.com, newegg.com, although you never know how long they've been sitting on 'stolen/bought' data.  Will see if I can complain to BBB or FCC to shut them down.  You would think an investigation to get their address from their tel number would lead to something!

I had the same problem.  A charge of 11.00 showed up on my credit card and I called to dispute the charge with my cc company.  My statement says Magnificent Shoes 203-989-0257 CA.  I found this site by goggling the phone number.  If this is happening to you, too, you need to close that cc acct and have them assign you a new number and card because once the fraud community has your numbers, it won't stop.

I got a charge from them as well.  I'm wondering if it has anything to do with me being in Afghanistan.  Except mine said Merial Shoes 760-316-4622 CA.

Did any of you buy anything from Abe's of Maine?  I ordered something from them online on June 14th, and on June 15th a $12.00 charge from Merial Shoes pops up.

I have also received a charge on my credit card with the same # of 203-989-0257,CT.  I have called my credit card company and the are removing the charge.  I also called the # above and reached a very poor english speaking gentleman.  I asked him if he could tell me what the charge was for - he asked for my card no. which I refused to give even though they must have it, so I gave him my 1st and last name and he said they would issue a refund and I told him I would follow up on that.  Going to check further to find out what this place is all about.

A charge of $14.00 on my Green dot card. I called the # on the statement & talked to an middle east man with an accent & the name of Alex Smith. I have no clue how they got my my Info?

Well, this company charged my debit card. I have no clue who they are, but the man who answered the phone said that it was my problem. Also, the man called me an f*ing B. Really, who are they, and how do we shut them down.

Got the same thing. Random charge from the "online" company called Merial Shoes. Called the bank and got the same contact number. Company rep that picked up said that they were in Connecticut. And they said that they would return the charge. We'll see....
